My MEGABOOM has been my main speaker since my hifi system kicked the bucket a year ago and when paired up with your mates speakers these things absolutely rip for a bushdoof or party. Used it as my car radio/speaker for 2 years and always had the battery to last big journeys. Tough as a rock, slipped down a waterfall, fell off my roof onto concrete and left outside in the rain she takes a flogging and keeps on giving

Seriously, the 360-degree sound is like a party trick in itself. I've never heard bass this punchy and highs this crisp from a portable speaker. What's even cooler is that I can take this bad boy anywhere – it's waterproof and rugged, so no need to baby it. And that magic button on top? Perfect for on-the-fly music control. Plus, the battery seems to last forever. Whether I'm chilling at home or out adventuring, the MEGABOOM 3 is my new favorite sidekick for blasting tunes with insane quality.

The tone of the speaker can be altered but it straight out the box sound is surprising, although the bass sometimes doesn’t pull through on heavy songs compared with competitors the speaker sounds great for everyday use and amazing to the non trained ear. I just wish that in the next generation it comes with USB-C and bigger drivers. Apart from that this speaker fit all my needs

The long battery life is a major plus too. I find the app useful, especially the feature that allows me to turn my speaker on and off wirelessly, I do however wish the app accommodated Spotify. With all the great reviews and the price I was a little disappointed to find that the speaker is not as loud as I expected it to be, however every other feature advertised met my expectations. Overall I would say buy one, the sound quality is super clear, it’s quick to charge, has a long battery life, and a useful app, but don’t expect to hear the speaker from all ends and angles of your house if it’s on full volume.

However the best thing about it is that I can control the speaker with an app on my phone. This makes it fabulous for evening rituals like meditation, podcasts, audiobooks and such because I don't have to move away from the bed to turn it off when I am done. Perfect for a couch potato!

is it waterproof?

Hi Robby, thanks for your question. We can confirm that this speaker is water proof. The speaker can be fully submerged under water for up to 30 minutes and also can float in water. Hope this helps!

Can I buy 2 and pair them for stereo sound?

Hi Mike, thanks for your question. We can confirm that if you do purchase x2 of these speakers by using the Ultimate Ears BOOM App you can connect as many BOOM, BOOM 2, BOOM 3, MEGABOOM, MEGABOOM 3 and HYPERBOOM speakers. However PARTYUP is not compatible with WONDERBOOM™, BLAST & MEGABLAST line of speakers. Hope this helps!

Does this come with the charger cord and adapter? If not, do you guys sell the charger cords for these speakers and if so, how much please? Thanks.

Hi Kelz. Thanks for you question. The speaker comes with a standard USB-C Port cable, but not an adapter. You can use an adapter from another device to charge or we do sell them. They vary in price, and can be found on our website.
