WIN

1. The Promoter is Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty Limited trading as Harvey Norman, 72 Cavendish Drive, Manukau, Auckland.

2. This Promotion is only open to New Zealand residents who are 18 years or over and who are residing in New Zealand at the time of the Promotion and have a valid email address (“the Participant”).

3. Employees and contractors of Harvey Norman or their immediate families or any company associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.

4. By entering this Promotion, the Participant acknowledges full acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Promotion, including all eligibility requirements. The Participant also accepts that all decisions made by Harvey Norman are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.

5. The Promotion commences at 12.01am on the first day of the month (NZST) and closes at 11.59pm on the last day of the month (NZST) (“the Promotional Period”).

6. Each month the Prize will be a $500 Harvey Norman Gift Card (“the Prize”). Gift Card terms and conditions can be found at www.harveynorman.co.nz/gift-card-terms-and-conditions.html

7. Participants will only be eligible for the monthly Prize during the month they sign up to receive marketing emails.

8. To enter the Promotion, Participants must, during the Promotional Period either:

• Enter a giveaway on Facebook by completing the online form; or
• Complete the online form on our website www.harveynorman.co.nz; or
• Make a purchase on our website www.harveynorman.co.nz and opt in to receiving marketing communications from Harvey Norman.

Participants must ensure that they follow the instructions on the Facebook post or online to correctly submit the entry to Harvey Norman.

9. To be eligible to win the monthly Prize, Participants must remain subscribed with Harvey Norman to receive marketing communications via email for that month. If a Participant unsubscribes, they will be ineligible to enter any further Promotions.

10. The Promotion is limited to one entry per person during the Promotional Period. No entries will be accepted after the Promotional Period closes. Harvey Norman takes no responsibility for any entries not lodged correctly through the Harvey Norman page on Facebook or any entries or files that are corrupt, damaged, lost or inaccessible.

11. Participants acknowledge that the Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook and that Facebook has no liability to Participants in relation to the Promotion. Participants and winners agree to fully release Facebook from any and all liability associated with this Promotion. All information Participants provide in connection with this Promotion is to Harvey Norman and not to Facebook.

12. Participants warrant that all information submitted by them is true and correct and does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property rights. The Participant also warrants that they are the owner of the email or the Facebook account through which the entry was made. Harvey Norman takes no responsibility for any dispute arising between the deemed Participant and any other party who may have submitted the entry.

13. Entries that are illegible, incomplete, contain explicit language, have been generated by automated means or do not comply with these terms and conditions are invalid. Harvey Norman reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Participants as required (including their identity, age, place of residence and email address) and to disqualify any Participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

14. Harvey Norman reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion. Tampering includes the use of any automated entry software or any other mechanism or electronic means that allows a Participant to automatically enter repeatedly the Promotion.

15. At the end of each monthly Promotional Period, Harvey Norman will randomly select a prize winner from all eligible entries received during the monthly Promotional Period. Harvey Norman’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

16. The winner will be contacted by Harvey Norman via email. All Prizes must be claimed by the winner responding to the email within five (5) days of the email send date. If the winner does not respond to the email or are not eligible to win the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and the Prize will be redrawn within fourteen (14) days of the Promotion closing date, until a winner of that monthly Prize is drawn and notified by email.

17. Harvey Norman reserves the right to verify the identity of the winner by requesting the winner to provide suitable identification of proof of age, address, identity and email address prior to awarding the Prize.

18. The winner's name may be published on our website www.harveynorman.co.nz and our Harvey Norman Facebook page. Harvey Norman reserves the right to use the winner's name, details and photograph for promotional and publicity purposes.

19. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

20. By entering the Promotion, the Participant’s consent to their personal information being collected and used by Harvey Norman for the purpose of conducting this Promotion and for receiving marketing communications via email. All entries into the Promotion become the property of Harvey Norman. Harvey Norman's Privacy Policy (www.harveynorman.co.nz/corporate-information/privacy-policy.html) will apply to all personal information that Harvey Norman collects from the Participants.

21. Harvey Norman reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or these terms and conditions at any time and for any reason before the end of the Promotion and without prior notification. Harvey Norman shall not be liable to any Participant or winner for any loss or damage incurred as a result.

22. Except for any liability not excluded by law, Harvey Norman, its employees, contractors and any company associated with this Promotion, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect, special or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.

23. By entering this Promotion and signing up to our email database, Participants agree to receive marketing communications via email about promotions, product, services, events and/or offers from Harvey Norman. Participants may unsubscribe from receiving marketing communications from Harvey Norman by using the unsubscribe facility at the bottom of the marketing communications. 24. These terms and conditions do not restrict, exclude or limit any statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
