Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jappenese build quality What sold me the fridge was the fact it is made in Japan. The construction of the plastic draws and glass shelves allowed for many adjustments to your particular needs. My model is 5 years old now and still behaves and looks new. No rubber falling off, shelves breaking or the door not quite closing problems unlike some fridges I put up with previously. The fridge motor is a inverter. Meaning it doesn't go on and off at full power but like driving a car revs the motor to just cool or really cools....most of the time it just idles barely running... Running costs are way down. I like having a fridge with glass front doors... Not shiny metal or painted or plastic.. Glass for easy cleaning with no marks or scratches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Fridge We bought this fridge 2&1/2 years ago and absolutely love it. It's super quiet and hasn't missed a beat! The auto ice maker is worth the fridge's weight in gold, we've never run out. The vacuum draw is great for cold cut meats and breads. We went to buy a fridge that had water and ice in the door, but choose this one because of a few reasons... one being that it was Japanese made and also because we wouldn't lose any room inside the fridge because of the water/ice container. I can't recommend this fridge enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had the fridge for 3 weeks now and still trying to get used to having a French door configuration. Looks really stylish and makes a real statement in the kitchen with everyone making comment when they see it. Don't be fooled by the sales, the glass front does pick up fingerprints real easy. The vacuum draw is more than just a gimmick it does really work well. The set back handles are stylish and will serve the wear and tear better than regular traditional handles, though they seem to pick up debris easy. The door space is pretty narrow and the configuration for taller bottles like milk, water, juice, wine etc is limited. Overall its a great fridge and appears a much higher quality than the major big brands that we have previously chosen.

What we like most about it is the variety of fridge drawers. Though not the biggest of drawers, it fits everything for our growing family. The vac drawer is great and we really love the ice maker for a non plumbed fridge. We moved into an older home and adding fridge plumbing was not on our list of must haves. To find such a functional practical fridge with an ice maker and for a decent price, is great.

Amazing interior design and lights, excellent ice maker. I would prefer more fridge door inserts in the third door. The fridge is easily moveable and lockable. Very affordable price. Highly-recommended!
