Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constantly under repair This is the worst fridge freezer we've ever owned. The door flapper over stretched the heating wire and cut it. Apparently it happens a lot with this model according to f&p repair guy. Then flapper spring broke and now you have to buy an updated version as it was flawed design. This broke the heating wire for a second time and whole door probably needs to be replaced. Absolute dog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 good to be true :) As good as you can buy. Even a smallest detail is great and perfectly balanced. So easy to use, and the perfectly positioned LED light will make you smile, every time you open the doors. There are two separate draws for the fruit and for vegetable, and the best thing is that you can change easily with the switch humidity level, to keep it longer fresh. P.s. On the end: Delivery guys helped us so much, and without their professional approach and experience, it will be impossible to bring the fridge in! Thanks' again to the Harvey Norman store and to guys from Fisher & Paykel delivery for the best team and professional work! All recommendations on every way for the fridge and for the seller :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing stainless steel finish Having had many F&P appliances we chose this fridge for the brand, and also because it did not have as many fiddly bits which are really hard to keep clean - however we are really disappointed with the performance of the stainless steel, which is so lightweight it has dented within 3 months of purchase, compared to our last s/s fridge which did not dent in the whole 15 years we owned it. Also the plastic beneath the glass that seals the drawers is incredibly flimsy and won't last the distance. I have done other on-line checks since purchase and many other people note that it dents easily, so its not just our experience. I have written to F&P to ask why it performs so badly, and not surprisingly have not had an answer. We have a s/s dishdrawer which has not dented and appears to be stronger. So warning to those about to spend a lot of money on a fridge - think very carefully about F&P. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feature packed, value AND recommended! Magnificent fridge/freezer, recommended! Great features and plenty of space for its size. I actually prefer that full sized ice cubes are automatically dispensed within the freezer section, as I personally prefer the collection method and size. I'm guessing that's also why having just the chilled water dispenser on the front allows for greater fridge door capacity. Either way, it's feature packed, easy to install and very good value for a Fisher & Paykel of its size and features. My family and friends already want one too. Perfect for me and I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic fridge I couldn't be happier with this fridge, it exceeded my expectations immediately and I'm more impressed each day. I bought it purely because it fitted my space and it looked good. I originally had a 520lt two door but this 487lt fits more in the freezer and the fridge and so much more accessible with great lighting. I wanted a dispenser in the door for ice and water but now I appreciate the door shelves space and the ice dispenser in the freezer compartment is so easy to access. My friends with the ice from the door lose so much shelf room and the door water dispenser on my fridge is perfect. I do use rotating plastic organisers on one shelf and the fruit and vegetable crispers are good for storing fresh meat as well. I thoroughly recommend this fridge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy Days I’ve been lusting after this fridge for awhile. I’m pleased with almost everything about it. Everything is accessible with loads more space than I thought. I prefer the handles even though they’re phasing out on newer models. It feels grand to open those French doors and view the contents. The only downside was the plumbing in, unnecessarily complex and too many vulnerable points for potential leaks. Why didn’t they use point to point connection? Stainless steel runners were impressive.

Outstanding design, high quality and easy to use. We sense our new fridge is energy efficient as well. We've had the unit for the past 5 weeks and feel it has fitted in to our lifestyle without hassle. Overall we're highly satisfied and would recommend without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from French doors and fresh water are a winner Love this fridge. The French doors are great as you don’t have a big door to open and block the walkway. Still getting used to the bottom mount freezer as we’ve always had top mount. Fingerprints are easily wiped off the stainless steel exterior. Love love the fresh filtered water directly from the door and the automatic ice in the freezer. Makes minimal noise when refilling and the ice drop noise isn’t too disruptive. You get used to it quickly. Plumbing wasn’t too hard. Was done in an hour. We had a F&P fridge before for 20 years so expecting good quality from this fridge as well. Only one little criticism, we use a lot of condiments which has taken up all the space in the doors and some on the shelves. We rearranged the shelving to fit bottles and drinks standing upright so it does take up a lot of space. But this fridge was recommended to me when I started looking and I also recommended it.

Thank you for your question. Yes, both are plumbed and the water dispenser is on the right hand fridge door. The ice maker is located in the freezer.
