Westinghouse - 7.5kg EasyCare 300 series Front load washing machine
I love having a front loader washing machine back in my life! So easy to load & unload, spins my clothes almost bone dry & I use a fraction of detergent I used to use! I love the 15 min everyday cycle. As a busy RN, to shed my uniform straight into the machine for a quick wash, whilst I myself shower, change into fresh home clothes then hang out the day's scrubs, all in 15 mins, is great. My best little fur friend recently passed away. In her last months, I had a lot of extra dog bedding & towels to process. Hot washes needed for some loads, & the self-cleaning cycle ensured that everything, for 2 & 4 legged family members, is always fresh & clean.

Over sensitive spin weight
Tried to wash a typical bathroom floor mat and the nanny electronic system refused to spin it and left the item soaked with water. Tried the rinse & Spin 11 minute cycle, after flattening it out in the bowl to distribute the weight … but it failed to get past the 8 minute mark of the 11 minute cycle. Checked the manual and found no reference/solution to this issue. Then to check that the machine was functioning correctly, I wash some ‘smalls’ which it then handled ok. Now I’m thinking, is it that it’s on 1200 spin, so let’s try 800. Bingo it worked. Summary: If only the Operating Manual had this info … may be it does, but I certainly couldn’t find it.

Disappointed with the touchpad
Bought two months ago but the touchpad started being unresponsive at times and responds after a day or two. Just not reliable at all. Now that I read the reviews I can see this is a common shortfall of this great machine which is otherwise efficient

Best. Purchase. Ever.
Alright so! This little beauty was my birthday present to myself and wow! Does she go good! Not only does it sing to you when it’s finished, my clothes come out perfectly washed everytime. I love the extra functions and the easy use, the ability to add in extra clothes if you forget and the simplicity of the the turn dial and delay function. My most favourite part… the spin cycle! Haha it sounds like a jet (one of my favourite things in this world) and I am so here for this! Other than that she’s whisper quiet and you don’t even realise your washing is done until she starts whistling at you. 10/10 would recommend!

Touch pad problematic
Washes well, HOWEVER, the electric touchpad is VERY temperamental. Very often, I have to press the buttons sevaral times to change water temperature, etc, and to start the wash cycle before the settings will change. I often end up having to switch machine off at the wall to 'reset' it to get the touch buttons to respond. It's a real nuisance and inconvenience! Also, I really don't like that there is no way to do a cold water only wash, because the machine itself heats the water, even though the hot water tap is off. The lowest temperature available is 30 degrees. I don't like this at all because of the obvious extra electricity costs! Not happy at all and wish to exchange the machine for a different one.

Amazing machine!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a traditional top loader user for my entire life. However when my trusty old top loader that I'd had for 16yrs died I decided I'd take the leap and try out a front loader after hearing so much positive feedback. Im so glad I did!!! This machine is nothing short of amazing !!! It's quiet, efficient, easy to use and IT GETS CLOTHES SO CLEAN & DRY! OMG!! they smell AMAZING and come out so dry it takes no time to dry them at all ! Uses so little detergent in comparison to my old machine and is super easy to use. You also have the added bonus of a bit of extra storage on top of the machine , which in a tiny laundry like mine is so valuable. I'm sold!! I'm never going back to the old top loaders!

Tricky start/pause touch button
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No doubt, this product is efficient for regular use. However, its start/pause touch button is very tricky to use.
Sometimes when you want to start your machine just by touching the start button, it doesn't respond. Thats been happening to me on many occasion and i am now used to it.
Tips: give your machine some time once you turn on, and gently touch on the start button.
Other than that, this brand is very economical is washes load perfectly.
