Rated 5 out of 5 by from A worthwhile investment When we first returned to NZ from overseas we bought a Miele vacuum cleaner. For the past thirteen years it has performed excellently, so when we needed to get a new washing machine, we felt that paying a little premioum for a product was a worthwhile investment. The WWD 660 Washing Machine is an excellent machine. We aren't that keen on the washing powder that is supplied with it as it has a strong residue smell on the laundry. this is a nuisance as the design is a great idea, its just that some adjustments need to be made for a better outcome. Having said that , this is an excellent appliance and we hope to get many years use out of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No regrets so far I have my mielie-lady for about 3 months. No regrets so far. Feels solid and trustable. It washes well and gentle enough. The detergent drawer is a bit hard to open, but this is a minor issue, especially with the TwinDos option. There is no signal for the end of the wash - at first it was strange, but now I'm glad about it. I also still enjoy testing and compare different machine functions and Miele detergents/capsules on different laundry.

Having washed with cold water for a few years now my clothes finally feel clean after washing in hot water. The instant detergent even though a little expensive makes it so easy to wash. No detergent dribbling down the sides. Love the new drum as well. Very happy with my purchase.

Is there a minimum water pressure ?

Thanks for your question Brett! According to the instructions, the minimum water flow pressure required is 100 kPa or 1 bar, while the maximum flow pressure is 1000 kPa or 10 bar. Trust this helps! ^CO

Hi there. Is there a minimum clearance around the sides of the machine? i.e. would it fit in a space that is 600mm wide ok? Also, is this this product currently in stock for delivery to Auckland?

Hi Olivia. Miele have advised the minimum width of the space you want to install the machine is 600mm. We currently do not have stock of this machine in our Auckland stores. They can be purchased directly from the Miele website if buying online. Hope this helps with your query.

Hi there, what side is the door hinged, can it have the hinges on the left side? Can you stop to add more clothes once the cycle starts? How long does the shortest cycle go for? Does it sort the amount of water required for each cycle? Thanks

Hi Dee, thanks for your questions. The door is hinged on the right and cannot be changed. You can add more clothes during a cycle. The shortest cycle is the Express 20. The washing machine takes in the right amount of water required for the programme depending on the amount of laundry and its absorbency rate.

If there is not sufficient space available to install two appliances next to one another, most Miele washing machines and tumble dryers can be conveniently combined as a washer-dryer stack, with the washer at the bottom due to the heavier weight, plumbing, and leveling requirements. Miele offers various stacking kits for combining the appliances in a stable manner.
