Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I ignored the negative review. I read the only review I could find and the user gave it a one star. I have to disagree with this and can only surmise the user did not know how to use the appliance correctly. It's a whole new way of drying and if you are used to the old fashioned tumble dryers where everything comes out baked then this would explain the negative review. I am very glad I decided to purchase anyway as I also have a Miele washing machine. The clothes come out lovely and soft and not overdried. I put the clothes on an airer for 10 mins and they are ready to be put away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO REGRETS SoOSO pleased with this dryer. It was a major purchase for me due to the price point, however definitely NO REGRETS. It looks so clean and sleek... it works SO well... Love the energy saving aspect too. Very quiet, lint filters are so easy to access and clean. Just LOVE this so much ! Makes laundry so easy and no more clothes hanging thru the house. LOVE the option of the fragrance pods too. My clothes come out so dry, yet so soft, NOT like they have been BAKED in an oven, and also the soft fragrance from the pod makes folding a joy !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and perfectly dry every time! I’ve had mine about 6 months, purchased this and we use it 10 times a week at least. Extremely cheap to run, by far the quickest heat pump dryer I’ve ever used. Miele in my opinion is the most superior product when it comes to white goods.

YouTube will help with questions but leave you with even more. Very Quiet unit that is great. No longer needing to open cap on water tank that is great. Programming could be better. Display could be better. But besides that it works great. It's slow with heat pump but do prefer as drying is much better. If wanting fast don't get. If wanting slow but great then get this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dry fast and efficient, quiet machine One of the best heat pump tumble dryers, the cloth dry fast and the add load function is useful. I always select 'extra dry' mode and leave the clolth in the warm dryer for sometime, then the cloth is perfect dry with frangance on it. You'll love the dryer in a rainy winter season.

I was a little apprehensive about the drying time being a heat pump and having read other reviews of different products as there was no review on this particular one at the time of purchase. However this machine is awesome and clothes take no time to dry. Would recommend.

Does this dryer have the ability to add a rack to dry shoes?

Hi Debbie. You can purchase additional accessories direct from Miele like a Drying basket. The drying basket is suspended in the drum and does not rotate with the drum. This enables items which must not be subjected to mechanical action to be dried or aired. This includes shoes. We hope this helps

Is this a vented dryer.

If it’s not a condenser dryer what is the drawer at top left? Also why does the fourth bullet point under the description tab mention ‘best condenser effect’?

Hi Grant, thanks for your question. The top drawer on the left is a "Condensed Water container". Unlike Condenser dryers the water is extracted from the wet clothes and drained out however this dryer absorbs moisture and the container is filled with water. This has a condense like effect similar to a condenser Dryer without the drainage hence why it says "best condenser effect".

Does this machine have a Condenser

Hi Ian. Thanks for your question. This dryer uses a heat pump to heat the air and absorb moisture from your laundry. Unlike condenser dryers that extract moisture from wet clothes and drain it away as condensed water. It does not have a condenser. Hope this helps with your query.
