Great unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet operation, intelligent functions, simple to use. Lots of features but the interface is easy and intuitive (even for me).
I'm coming from the old school barrel dryer and this is honestly a world apart. I've not had expeience with heat pumps, I don't really know anyone that uses heat pumps, so I didn't really know what to expect.
Zero condensation is nice. it works very well and is considerably more efficent (the sheet drying function works really well). I do find that I use the 'extra cupboard dry' feature a lot personally but I do throw heavy mixed loads in most of the time so your mileage may vary!

Reverse cycle is a must
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only disappointment I have is that the next model down (this one) doesn't have smart featues built in where as the model higher has smart, but doesn't have reverse tumble.
Would be nice if a future top of the line model (WQG)mdels) have both.
Great dryer, takes 3-4 hours but is silent when operating. No regrets

Exceptional Quality

My wife does a lot of research before making any significant purchase and she is right on the money again - the Bosch not only compliments our Bosch washing machine but also does a fantastic job at dryer our clothes with no fear of creasing of fold marks. This is another fantastic, high quality Bosch product. We love it!

It certainly looks solid, stylish and is doing a great job so far. I researched it within an inch of its life and compared it to other competitors - it comes up tops in terms of competitive price and excellent energy consumption and rating. I hate replacing appliances (it's always a resentful purchase because the old appliance has died) but this replacement is bringing me so much joy, worth every dollar!

AVOID!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally a big fan of Bosch and thought getting a Series 8 product would be risk free - but this dryer is an absolute shocker. Takes hours to dry and more often than not does actually leave things dry even on the highest settings. Thought it was just me until I read last week's review by Consumer NZ which came to the same conclusion. It simply doesn't work. Would give 0 rating if possible, as have just wasted a couple of thousand dollars. Ironically, the Series 8 washing machine we got at the same time is excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch Series 8 Dryer is exceptional. Easy to install just plug it in. There are a variety of settings and the dryer does not overheat your clothes. There isn't even any static. The energy rating is amazing. I have it set up in my garage and even in cold weather it works well. Make sure to clean out the double layer lint trapper and empty the water after each use and the machine will run at optimal efficiency. You can also hook up the water waste to empty into your laundry sink for convenience.

Great tumble dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't blieve how easy it is to use this tumble dryer!
The programs cater for every type of drying I need. As it is a heat pump, I have no condensation in the laundry. The clothes dry to my programmed dryness. It is so much more efficient than my previous "other brand" dryer.
I now have both washing machine and dryer made by Bosch. The tumble dryer sits perfectly on top of the washing machine saving space in a fairly small laundry and both appliances complimenting each other. Thank you. Bosch
