Rated 2 out of 5 by from cleaning issue plus rubber tabs have fallen off the black supports and the actual crome top are terrible to clean plus 4 of the rubber lugs underneath the black supports have fallen off. i have a house full of Miele but i would not buy this product again

does this gas cooktop have a simmer function?

Hi Wendy. The cooktop does not have a pre set simmer function. To use lower temperatures to get a simmer it is recommended to use the smaller ring and have the gas down low. Hope this helps

What are the BTU ratings for these burners?

Hi Kerrin. Thanks for your question. For natural gas the total ratings for all rings at the highest setting is 41.5MJ/h. For ULPG the total rating is 35.5 MJ/h. You can view all the ratings for this cooktop by visiting the Miele website. Hope this helps with your query.
