Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy!!! I bought this oven in May 2020. 9 months later it stops heating. I call the preferred electrician to fix it as per the Panasonic website but due to Covid19 and parts delays it would take 7 weeks to get the part required to fix the issue. Panasonic were good about it and replaced it with a brand new oven which was great. Now here we are in October (8 months later) and it's busted again with a similar heating issue. I called Harvey Norman for the repair. While the electrician (not the Panasonic approved electrician) came it had taken one week for the electrician to get out to us, then another week for the part to come. Turns out, it was the wrong part...so now we have to wait even longer for an 8 month old oven to be fixed. Not hating on the electrician, it's not his fault this is a trash product. We are a small family of four so do not do a whole lot of cooking in the oven but would expect it to last longer than it has on both occasions. Save your hard earned money and buy whiteware from a more reliable brand. Would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible oven, really think about it This oven is terrible. Started out ok and great price, easy to use. However, the rungs seems to expand too much and the rack just slips off. It's as if the rack isn't wide enough for the oven. This effectively makes the 2 bottom rungs useless for cooking. The racks just slip and your food spills throughout the oven - thankfully noone has been burnt yet but it's only a matter of time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap is as cheap gets This was installed in our '21 new build. 3 years old and its blown the bottom element and the door is beginning to fail also as it doesn't close properly. Would waste ya money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't go there This was provided new when I purchased my house. Small, only one actual rack and one tray, ran hot, then eventually blew out. Wouldn't recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst oven ever! Hey, I bought this oven from Harvey Norman Lower Hutt, and it's been nothing but trouble. It's broken down three times for no reason, and it takes forever to heat up. The quality is terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Replaced it with something else eventually. But on the bright side, the customer service at Harvey Norman Lower Hutt is amazing. The people there are so friendly and helpful, and they're always quick to respond. They've been great about dealing with all the problems I've had with the oven.

Questions & Answers

Can I get the specifications . Current ovens starts with a height of 595mm but then drops to 470mm as there is gas pipe at the top behind. Is there a drop in height in this model if so where. Where can i find the full dimensions

Asked by: Russ
Great question Russ! While it appears to drop down at the back, it is part of the design and has a vent running down the rear of the unit for ventilation. The measurements of 595Hmm x 595Wmm x 575Dmm are correct (excl door). Cavity will measure 600Hmm x 600Wmm x 570Dmm, with an extra 25mm added for the door. Check the instructions on the Panasonic site for more info. Hope this helps! ^CO

Can more oven racks be acquired for this?

Asked by: Todd
Thanks for your question Todd. Certainly can! You can order these through our stores as a spare part, and they can source from the supplier. Costs are subject to change and the store can advise this at the time of ordering. The part number for this is 12971100000625 and is listed as a Bake Rack. Trust this helps! ^CO

The base of my pies and tarts are not cooking , the pastry is still raw. I have tried using the bottom element only but they are still raw

Asked by: Sam j
Great question Sam. It doesn't appear to be a product issue and we would recommend attempting to blind bake the dough or shells first, to ensure they are well baked, prior to adding fillings for further baking. If they are still not cooking, then we would recommend contacting the store and the team can lodge this with the manufacturer. Hope this helps! ^CO

Asked by: Wendy

Will this fit in to the same space as an existing Parmco 60cm oven? Do you also do the fitting?

Asked by: Lucy
Thank you for your question. We would need to know the model number of the Parmco to make sure the installation size is the same. Yes, your local Harvey Norman store will be able to arrange installers to do the fitting.
