Rated 5 out of 5 by from The masterpiece that exceeds all expectations Having upgraded from the LG 65” OLED G3 the look and physical dimensions are exactly the same including the wall mount bracket I thought that there would be only a slight improvement boy was I wrong. From the ease of installation, a simple 5 min clip off the old and install the new a complementary free install offered by LG as part of the package the new alpha 11 processor makes quite a noticeable difference in the display processing in the standard tv mode and amazing in gaming mode on both the PlayStation and Xbox. Even during the peak of the day with the sun flooding the room the tv in full brightness mode the quality and brightness is outstanding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All the hits, none of the misses of the industry The saturated colors are amazing and the way the blacks in a film disappear into the letterbox is something to behold. I also appreciate that all 4 HDMI ports are 2.1 to allow for flexibility with the latest consoles and newer devices to come. The included wall mount is a bonus, even as a carry over from last years model. All that said, I have to commend the picture options and the availability of minute motion options that allow for me to tweak them to reduce jutter while avoiding the soap opera effect, to include maintaining color accuracy of film maker mode. The ability to make these changes independent of one another is second to none.

I'm so glad to have a 77" as it's the perfect size for my wall. The brightness is truly next level! It's the perfect HDR experience with perfect blacks and so bright you'd think with was mini-LED. It also seems like this TV was built from the ground up with gaming in mind like a 77" gaming monitor. I've got my PC connected and I can't imagine there's a TV with better features at 4k 144 hz, Dolby Vision PC, G-Sync Compatible, the lowest input latency you could imagine, and picture quality that could arguably be described as perfect.

Coming from another OLED TV, I wasn’t expecting much, but the blacks, colors, and brightness from the second-generation MLA panels are genuinely impressive. The picture quality from 4K Dolby Vision/HDR content really shines. Also as a gamer, this TV offers all the essential features, while still looking amazing. Overall, I highly recommend the LG G4 OLED TV for its impressive performance, sleek aesthetics, and essential features. It’s a worthy upgrade for anyone seeking top-notch entertainment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Infuriating to use in a Home Theater Picture Quality of this TV is outstanding. User interface is lackluster and quite cluttered requiring you to dig through settings to turn things off. HDMI-CEC implementation is horrendous to the point that I am not able to route devices through my home theater receiver. To get audio from TV apps requires HDMI ARC which forces CEC on. If you disable CEC, it changes audio to TV speakers and disables ARC. Because CEC comes on at will, it tries to take control of other devices attached to the receiver. After almost a full day of troubleshooting audio problems related to CEC and ARC I am at the point of returning the TV.

I started with the 65 LG C8 and put over 12,000 hours on it. My next one was a 77 LG C2 which is my main Movie and Video game TV. I have just updated to the 65 LG G4 and I am blown away. Being in the bedroom I need a brighter tv and the G4 is making my girlfriend and I very happy! Even her standard SDR contents looks better. We love watching Netflix, Apple TV and sports. I do plan to move my PS5 upstairs to test out the gaming which I know will be amazing. I am very happy with the upgrade and will continue to support LG for years to come.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Many issues with this TV. Don’t buy! Don’t buy this TV. Have had an ongoing issue with tv shutting off randomly. Instead of sending me a new TV. LG keeps sending out repair team. Each time requiring me to remove tv from wall which is a multiple person job. In researching this tv often has issue. Great tv if you can get it working. As someone who had bought over 10 Lg OLED for personal and business use this experience is unacceptable. Was excited to be buying the flagship product at full price on preorder and LG refuses to do the right thing.

LG G4 When using an outside source for sound (using optical cable / hdmi not an option) the sound quits. I have the correct sound out chose. I then have to use the speakers that come with the tv. And, the HDMI’s have not been working with my Xbox. Help!
