Rated 5 out of 5 by buyerfp from Quality product, just be mindful of its use case. I use and highly recommend Thor surge/filter products, including this one (Thor Alpha 1). NOT a flaw (product is high quality and has a valid place in product line): But it's worth noting this unit (and other Alpha products) has a higher clamping voltage of 510V than other Thor protectors (Apex Series etc @275V-300V). 300V is appropiate for sensitive high value electronics (mission critical computers etc) and I would purchase a higher tier Thor product than the Alpha 1/A1A to use in this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AffSeda from Neat Little Device It's a very clean little unit with filtered power. It's compact enough to allow devices to go next to it but on some powerpoints it is hard to operate the switch with this in the way.
