Rated 5 out of 5 by from A stellar upgrade to an already amazing product. I purchased 2 Era 300 speakers as soon as they became available. I was honestly not sure how much they would change my music listening habits or movie watching. After 3 weeks of use I am gobsmacked at how much I had been missing in the arena of surround sound and spatial audio. The Era 300s combined with the Arc and Sub create an environment that envelops the listener in an all encompassing sound environment. It's like hearing music and sound for the first time. The speakers were easy to add to my existing Sonos system and function flawlessly so far. I find myself enjoying my music and movies so much more since making this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound This speaker is one of the best speakers I've ever owned. It's so easy to setup. The sound quality is amazing. Having just one speaker sounds like you have a surround sound in your house. The newly designed volume controls are easy to use and very responsive. The Bluetooth addition is very convenient because it makes it portable. The line in feature is also great. It's an option I never had before with other products. This lets me connect it to my record player. I paired it with my mini sonos sub and the combo with the already great bass that it has was incredible. I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a good sound system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning I researched the ERA 300 throughly before I bought it and I wasn't sure if it could live up to expectations. It did, and then some. Absolutely amazing sound quality that copes with every type of music that I've played through it. Vocals are amazing in their clarity, bass is powerful but not overpowering and the power of the drivers is breathtaking. It was easy to set up and tune to the room and it seems to get better each time I use it. I wish I could be constructive and say that there was something about it that I don't like or could be improved, but I can't. It's just stunning in every way.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I cannot really see the promised sound. I really regret buying Era 300 even after getting the second one for better sound. I really do not see the features they promised. Yes the sound is nice compared to other speakers but if you pay that much for it it should at least sound as better like the One SL pair that I own. I cannot see the sound filling the room. Depending of source is or too bass heavy at low volumes or you have the feeling something is really missing. I decommissioned other speakers for lack of features or for being unreliable when using streaming services but the sound it is still the most important feature I look. If the sound is common what is the point. Maybe I should have got the Era 100 pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much needed speaker to fill in some gaps! This is a much needed addition to the Sonos ecosystem. The line-in is nice, and inline with the feature set of a few of the bigger Sonos speakers (which makes it a good candidate for turntables in a relatively small package). The bluetooth support is much rarer, and I believe only the Move has that feature. This is a much better sounding speaker than the Move, and the one I'd pick unless I absolutely need the Move's portability. The up-and-forward firing speaker make this great for rear speakers in an Atmos setup. The only real negative is the aesthetic, which is probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I can understand why this shape was necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I recommend even if it's not the best. Very good speaker. I used it as stand alone. Sound is very good compared to my audio pro T10. But not as great. Lacking mid frequencies which makes the speaker a bit crisp but very detailed. The special sound dispersion everyone boasts about is what disappointed the most. I really was not very impressed and do not understand all the fuss made around that particular aspect of this speaker. Playing music is a charm, using the app is very user friendly. Setting it up was a breeze. Very positive listening but yet I kept my audio pro T10 despite the are directional and only Bluetooth. I would still recommend this speaker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but not perfect In a nutshell they are an improvement over my sonos ones but the volume level from the surround channel which you can't control independently is far too low. I was going to send them back but I'm hoping sonos listens and does a software update. You would think with all the hype and experts involved they would have noticed this. I have mine with sonos arc and sub. I did borrow an iPhone to trueplay but did not make any difference to the low sound. Also the dialogue is not that good and you hand to sit with the remote in your hand to constantly turn the volume up and down. Please listen to your users sonos as I'm not the only one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little speaker I brought this era 300 for my living along with two era 100's for other rooms in my house. It's a great speaker than a novice like me can tell the upgrade from the era 100s ideally I'd like to get a second for more stereo sound but right now I'm happy with this. For me one of the best features is the connectivity, I like to have music playing around my house without it coming from one room and turning it up to loud. I have an era 100 in my kitchen and another in my bedroom and it's great to link them together. Maybe if they bring out an upgrade for the Five to get the voice activation I'll get two and move this to another room.
