We needed a discreet system we could mount out of the way on a wall. It sounds better than we expected, in all modes. It was easy to set up, including the radio, and there have been no issues. It would have been helpful to say that the box contained an aerial, which looks flimsy but works well.

i purchased this radio a few months ago. i actually wanted to be able to use the radio. but for some reason the radio does not find any channels, do i need another cord to make this happen

Thanks for a great question Christine. There should 2 extensions included in the box, 1 should be a wire, 1 will essentially be a small box. Both need to be connected to the system in order to receive FM/AM signals. If you do not have these, these can be purchased from some retailers and connected. If you have this connected already and still do not have signal, it could be you are in a blind spot for signal and would need a different adapter to receive signal. Hope this helps!
