Over the moon with this product
This bar made my husband the happiest husband in the world. He now can enjoy watching all matches at home and can feel the stadium 😅
This sound bar is absolutely amazing, the best one. It has completely changed my experience of watching movies and listening to music. I can enjoy the music even if I am in the kitchen cooking or in the bedroom.
The quality of the sound bar is impeccable. The sound is very clear and sharp and the bass is very powerful. The colour and design is also so cute and it was very easy to setup. Another good thing is the app. Albsolutely love everything about this bar. Thank you #reviewclub.

Really good investment
I've got this to test a couple weeks ago, and this soundbar is a powerhouse with his 720W output, Dolby Atmos and detachable surround speakers for an immersive experience, specificallycomparedto my old one. PureVoice ensures clear dialogues, but there's a drawback—the background music can be louder than voices in movies, making volume adjustments a bit tricky, as when you turn the volume up to hear the voices the sound effects and background music from the nivie or series it gets away too loud. Despite this, its versatility with AirPlay, Alexa, and Chromecast built-in makes it a solid choice for any gathering, transforming entertainment into an immersive sensation.

Brings the sound to a whole new level
We are big fans of movies and gaming. Besides a big OLED TV, we own a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and a Nintendo Switch. We play games on at least one of the consoles every day and occasionally watch a UHD BluRay. So far, we've been totally satisfied with our setup, great picture quality, great new consoles and games, but the sound hasn't really been cinematic yet. To bring the sound to a new level, we bought the JBL BAR 800 and have not regretted the purchase for a single second.
During the initial setup, I had the problem that the soundbar could not be connected to our WiFi. So I downloaded the latest firmware for the soundbar from the JBL website and updated it. After that, the soundbar connected to WiFi without any problems and I haven't had any other problems since then.
The soundbar can be controlled very intuitively with the JBL One app on the smartphone or with the remote control. The subwoofer has a lot of bass, so I feel like I'm in the cinema with the right bass and sound settings. I also think it's cool that the subwoofer and detachable speakers are wireless and can be positioned anywhere. This means there is no cable clutter in the living room and everything looks nice and discreet.
With the purchase, we have definitely brought the sound to a new level. Watching movies is even more fun now, especially when they support Surround Sound / Dolby Atmos. New games with Surround Sound also sound much better on the PS5 and Xbox now. But also when it comes to music streaming (Apple Music, TIDAL, Spotify), the soundbar performs a fantastic sound. I can definitely recommend it in any case.

Needs Dialogue improvement
Needs more improvement in dialogue clarity speacially in low volume like 10-14 and even mid range in full in app still not listen properly. Still waiting for next firmware update may be Jbl trying to fix that issue . Overall good sound bar in budget.

Cinema experience at home
Wow! this sound system is utterly amazing, crisp clear sound, immersive and captivating from the second the title of a movie comes on the screen, the surround sound makes you feel like you are really in the cinema, my children love watching their favourite films even more now because of the JBL 800, we love the no wire look and the detachable rear speakers can not only charge via the cleverly hidden docking station but they can also be charged via USB aswell! We are a family of music lovers and we love that the JBL 800 can be connected via Bluetooth! Win Win!

Changed the way I listen to the TV
The JBL BAR 800 is easy to set up and comes well packaged, I’ve watched many different genres and the sound is amazing and fills the room well.
The bass is booming and gives listening to music a different dimension. When watching sports the Dolby Atmos helps you feel like your in the stadium rather than sat at home.
When watching films the surround sound helps bring the movie to life with the rear speakers being wireless and chargeable from the bar it saves having wires trailing around the room aswell.
Overall I would highly recommend the JBL BAR 800 to anyone who wants to upgrade there audio it comes across very clear and high quality.
The only downfall was the instructions wasn't very clear and at first I wasn't getting any sound untill I realised I needed to change a setting on my TV put once that was done I haven't found fault since

Great piece of sound
I've been a happy user for a few weeks now and I have to say that JBL never dissapoints me. It's my second soundbar from JBL. I've made a very good decision choosing this brand again. The sound is amazing! Dolby atmos technology works fantastic. During watching movies I had to check many times my whole house as I could hear sounds from everywhere until I understood it's a magic of soundbar! I love the idea of detachable spreakers. You can put them around the room. To charge you just have to put them back together or you can charge it through USB cable. The set up was very straight forward. It's very elegant with its simple design. Clear sound and impressive bass. User friendly remote as well as the app. Great choice! bHighly recomended

Perfect sound system for families.
I always thought that I don’t need a sound bar for the TV. I’m pleasantly surprised and impressed by JBL Bar 800. The manual is user friendly and even if you don’t have much experience with latest technologies it has step by step instruction that will help you with installation. It came with all the fittings that you need for wall installation. The whole system requires 2 power outlets as subwoofer and sound bar has separate plugs. Thanks to build in Bluetooth it was very easy to connect to my tv and phone. You can easily connect to the JBL Bar 800 from your device anywhere in your home. The detachable speakers are truly amazing while watching or listening to music. The design and quality is excellent. After using it for the first time I couldn’t believe how much I was missing out on audio quality of the movies. 3D sound technology and wireless subwoofer makes you feel like in the cinema. Apart from the sound quality the whole system generates high sound volume.
My children are over the moon while watching movies, gaming or listening to music. I would highly recommend to anyone who has been looking for the perfect Sound System.

Is my Yamaha Model NO RX-V383 Receiver with HDMI & BLUETOOTH is this Yamaha compatible with the JBL BAR 800.I'm looking at doing a JBL 800 Soundbar to my LG 86 UHD-TV Smart TV and my Yamaha Receiver for Music?
Thanks for your question. Our JBL Bar 800 is designed as a standalone speaker system and can't be connected to a receiver. However, you could use the TV or an external digital device as a source to play music and connect it to the soundbar using an HDMI cable.

the soundbar is registering as being connected to the tv and playstation 5, but there is no video visible on the tv. tv is plugged into hdmi out, ps5 is plugged into hdmi in, source is set to hdmi

Can you link to a flip 5?
Our JBL BAR 800 is a stand-alone soundbar system, and it's not possible to add or connect other JBL speakers. You can pair your JBL Flip 5 with a smart TV via Bluetooth. But we don't recommend it because you may experience audio lag or sync issues.
