HW-R650/XY compatibleWorks with HW-R650/XY
I seen that all the newer rear speaker kits with the separate receiver were compatible with the R650, via forums, and the compatibility of those (SWA-9100S etc) were the same as this one (SWA-9200S).
So I thought it was worth a try since the SWA-8500 is long gone, and the SWA-9100S can't be purchased.
So yes, the SWA-9200S is compatible with the HW-R650/XY, and most likely compatible with any other soundbar that used the 8500 or any of the rear speakers that had the separate receiver.
Seems to be loud enough with the "Rear Speaker Volume" up to about +3 out of +10.
It adds some depth to the room and takes some sound pressure off the soundbar which is attached to the other side of a child's bedroom.
