Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth it. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and I’m overall happy. Points lost for the battery life because it’s really not great when it’s not connected to the charging cable. But I get a really great result when straightening and my hair actually holds a curl much better than other brands of straightener. It’s taken some getting used to as the sections you take need to be pretty small to avoid pulling but overall I’m pleased with the purchase.

The new one is so completely different to the first. It doesn’t get as hot and leaves my hair frizzy and it pulls the hair so much that it sounds like sandpaper.

In comparison with my previous GHDs, to straighten my entire head of hair takes longer; the full battery at the start needs recharging; my finished hair is not as straight, sleek or as shiny; it is heavier; and it doesn't glide as well.

In comparison to the GHDS I've been using, to straighten my entire head of hair takes longer; with a full battery at the start, it needs to be recharged before I'm finished; it is heavier; doesn't leave my hair as sleek, straight or shiny; and it cost substantially more.

I use it two times a week, no damage and result is always perfect! Soft, shine and straight hair. The best result at my long practice.Easy to use and best at medium temperature to prevent burnt hair.
