Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am not happy with the Airstrait. My original hair is kinda straight not curly one. I usually use Airstrait on wet hair with serum applied before using it, at 110 degree. 140 degree seems too hot on the hair which will damage hair in long term. The hair ‘looks’ very tame at the very beginning however after a while , say 30 min the frizzy hair appears and it looks terrible, even much frizzier than not using the Airstrait. I guess it’s because the hair have been pressed by hot air so its structure has been changed. It looks terrible. I expected no frizzy hair at all at least for half day, especially at this price point, I am struggling to return the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Hair Tool I've Ever Purchased! This is by far the BEST hair styling tool I've ever purchased! I live in South Carolina, home of the worst humidity! On top of the fact, I have naturally curly hair, which I straighten! I also have 22" extensions and lighten my hair considerably! I section my hair when drying, but it only takes a couple of passes with no round brush or flat iron! My hair has never looked or felt better! It is so soft and perfectly straight when I'm done! Even better than a salon blowout and without the damage of a flatiron at 450 degrees! At first I was hesitant because of the price, but I'm so glad I took the leap of faith! Also cut down my blowout time in half! Just do it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best device to straighten hair, period! I have thick curly/wavy hair and I am able to complete the straight sleek look in about 40 minutes. While this may seem long it doesn’t compare to blow drying first and then straightening for two reasons. 1) a blow dryer always leaves my hair looking like a bush, frizzy and big 2) when I straighten with a flat iron I always have so many crimps, especially at the skull because the flat iron can’t get close enough or the heat causes it to crimp. The Dyson air straight is designed in a way that I have smooth, soft, straight hair with no crimps and I absolutely love it. I think it even dose a better job than when my hair stylist does my hair. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product I think this is an awesome product if you’re able to afford it however, I feel like you could achieve a near identical look with much more affordable products. I will not be returning mine, but I also would not purchase another one. I also have the air wrap for going on a year and a half and I absolutely love it coming from somebody who didn’t know how to curl their hair without burning themselves it is a game changer. Overall, I think Dyson makes wonderful products that are much less damaging and super sleek in design but don’t feel pressured into paying so much — a round blowout brush and smoothing attachment will give near the same results đź©·

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How did I live without this Ive only used this 3 times but wow wow wow I am amazed at the results. I have wavy/straight hair that is very weak and frizzes very easily. I still don’t understand how this works with so little heat. My hair feels silky smooth, shiny and healthy after a blowout with my airstrait. I love that it doesn’t pull on my hair like the airwrap sometimes does and it only takes me 20 mins from wet to dry to get a perfect blowout. I think the only downside would be that I have to go in with my airwrap to give my ends a bit if volume as this does leave your ends completely straight as its meant to. Other than that I cannot wait to see how my hair will be in a few months of not burning it with a blowdryer or flatiron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product I have wavy, rather unruly hair and I cannot for the life of me blow dry my hair. I also wouldn’t want to even if I could as hair dryers are bad for the hair condition. The Dyson air strait sounded ideal. I could dry my hair straight without damaging it. The main issue for me was the high price…but I bought one and I am delighted I did. It is an amazing product and does just what it says it does. I have had a keratin treatment before at the hair salon which was expensive but the Dyson is much better. I hate regular hair straighteners which damage the hair and make the hair weirdly straight. The Dyson is rather different - straight hair but thick and rather wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straightens Hair in Under 30 Minutes Tried everything for my naturally frizzy/curly hair. Love my hair straightened but am unwilling to invest the required hour and a half. Airstrait enables me to air-dry my hair overnight and straightens my damp hair the following morning in less than 30 minutes. Not just smoothed, but absolutely straight hair that is soft and shiny. It dries my towel-dried hair in 45 minutes which would take 1.5 hours with a regular blow dryer. Unlike my flat iron, Airstrait keeps my hair straighter for longer - 2nd-day hair, humidity, and ponytail bends. Not sure why, but super happy. It is my new favorite dryer and flat iron. So very thankful that I made the purchase.

I already have the Dyson AirWrap and love it, but wanted an option for when I wanted to wear my hair straight. My hair is very thick and course, and it takes a long time to blowdry and my mornings are hectic as is. The Airstrait drys my hair super fast, and gives my hair such body. I can touch up my hair after a few days and it looks as if I just styled it. Some have stated it's heavy, but I don't think it's heavy at all. Easy and intuitive to use. No regrets on this purchase!
