Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’ll never use anything else again I LOVE this hair dryer. I always wondered if this product was worth the hype and I am happy to report it IS! As a true 4B/4C naturalista (and yes a true 4C, we exist lol) with long hair, it takes a long time to diffuse all this hair. I didn’t realize just how much heat was still getting on my hair with old hair dryers until I used one that *truly* was a cool dry. WOAH. The difference showed in my curls! And the POWER…woah. This was the first time I’ve ever dried my hair at home, completely, the first time. This only happens with the help of professionals in a salon. I cannot say enough good things!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Utterly disappointed Just sold it second hand at a bargain price as it did not stand up to my expectations. As a hairdresser of 12 years and someone who has thick, curly and frizzy hair this did not achieve the smooth soft finish that I get from my twin turbo 3200. Very disappointed to learn that it is only 1600watts- it certainly doesn’t say that anywhere on the box! (And why would it? 1600 watts is not impressive!) so I suppose your hair would be better in terms of heat damage but you will be looking like a frizz ball! If you have naturally soft, fine hair then this will be fine for you but so will a Kmart hairdryer so my advice is save your money and invest in something that’s been tried and tested as a professional salon product for years

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the price My husband bought this for me for my birthday, it does take away a lot of the static I was getting but makes my hair feel really dry and brittle Could of spent a lot less on a dryer and just kept using the dry bar static spray

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money! Get anything else. I bought this dryer after my last one died (after 7 or 8 years of use). It was a big splurge. For two years of COVID, I used the dryer 1-2 times a month, and made sure it was clean. I went to use it today and it won't turn on. I called customer support who let me know that this 3 year old dryer is out of warranty and I can buy a new one. Wait...what?! I've barely used it and there's no fix for it? And you want me to BUY another one?!? I'm angry because I've convinced friends to buy this dryer....and based on this Dyson product, I've purchased other Dyson products. It's now impossible to justify recommendations or any further purchases. Buy a dryer that works for a fraction of the cost. Don't get this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best hair dryer I've had. I love my Dyson hair-dryer. I bought it a month ago and couldn't be happier. Whilst I haven't used all attachments, & probably won't , the Gentle Air attachment is my go to attachment. It feels as thought it's kinder to my fine, thinning hair & gives good results. I also appreciate that the electrical cord is much longer than on my previous dryers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shuts off Mid Dry I purchased my dryer 10 months back and loved it up inter 2 months ago. It now shuts off mid-dry after overheating. This is frustrating, especially after saving for this dryer for a while. I badly want to buy another, hoping this first dryer was a fluke, but I’m not sure I can spent the money again. Very disappointed.

Mine quit working after 3 years- Dyson offered NO solutions other than for me to take it to my local Dyson Service Center for repair. For this kind of money, it should NEVER short out…. Save yourself the money and go buy a alternative- I’ve owned many hair dryers, from low end to high end and they’ve last 6-10 years. This hair dryer is absolute garbage. Dyson has lost another customer’
