Do not recommend this product at allMy Stepdad purchased this for my Mum about 8 months ago and it was installed in early January. You can see the live view perfectly and then 3-4 minutes later the DVR turns itself off and disconnects from the screen and you have nothing. Eventually (no set timing.. just when it feels like it) it will start back up and the 3-4 minutes later it's gone again. Because the DVR isn't running you have no access to anything on the app. This has been going on for 6 months and nothing will make this system stay running as it should. Can't express how disappointed in this product we are.

Online - preferred from now onWent into the local store here - they seemed unimpressed when I wanted the cheaper security cameras and said they only get a few in . That was it .
I said to him I will just order online then, I would have liked to support local and would of thought they could order one in possibly . NO suggestion of that whatsoever.
BUT THE ONLINE service was fantastic, faultless and very fast. The instructions on using finance was very clear and the correspondence right through was spot on.

back to the store it goescameras work, dvr seems to work, link to a phone does not. I tried two different phones (iphone and android) and neither can connect to the system. The first tech person told me to call someone else and hung up. The second sent me a link and said to figure it out on my own. Too bad I can only get my money back, not the wasted day I spent messing with this junk.

how many volts required for this to set up?

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately all cameras are powered directly from the main hub through the dual video/power cable supplied for each camera. This is a 12v system and we do not recommend attempting to connect to a 24V system as this could void warranty.

Hi i brought one of these products i do not have it connected to the internet it only records for 24hours then wipes all video and starts again how do i change the settings so i can record and keep the clips for longer periods

Hi there, thanks for your question. You will need to open the Swann App. Click "Set Up" in the bottom left hand corner>Login> Navigate to the "Devices" tab, select the desired device you wish to format. On the bottom of the page next to "Format HDD", select the drop down tab "Auto" and choose the desired time you wish to have your data saved before it is overwritten. Hope this helps.

Hi can i turn off the motion warning light as i would have a camera facing towards the street and don't want the light turning on every time a car or pedestrian goes past

Hi there, thanks for asking a question. Yes you can disable the spotlight deterrent through the Swann App. You can also change the distance the camera can detect motion to trigger the security light, so it will not pick up cars, or pedestrians. Hope this helps.
