Rated 5 out of 5 by from The remedy to teenages not answering ccellphones Excellent, in a day and age where everyone owns a cellphone a landline phone is invaluable, I have teenagers that don't answer their phones, I strategically placed one of these handsets in the middle of the house and turned it up..............now when no one answers their phones I ring the house and they can't ignore it, as it is too loud :D

Nice compact design and really good battery life. Tricky to program in phone book entries. Not quite as loud as I'd like despite having the volume turned to max.

im an old fellow how do i turn off the answering thing so i have time to get to the phone,it only rings 6 times and thats not long enough for me to get there

Hi John. You can change the number of times the phone rings before the unit answers a call. You can select between 2 to 9 rings. This can be changed in the settings. Select OK. Select Answer System. Select Settings. Select Number of Rings. Select the desired number of rings. Then press ok. We hope this helps.

What is the phonebook capacity for this model? And is this a DECT phone ie the slave updates automatically from the master? What are the basic differences between this and the KX-TGH222AZB model? Thanks

Thanks for your question Jim. You can add up to 50 names and phone numbers to the Phone book. You can increase the signal range of the base unit by using a DECT repeater. Please use only the Panasonic DECT repeater KX-A405. There is only a few basic differences,The Panasonic KX-TG2722 has 15 hours talk time, 170 hours standby time, charge time of 7 hours same as KX-TGH222AZB and has about 18 minutes recording time.
