Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed We bought this after seeing an ad and really liked it to start. The vacuum itself is nice and powerful but the hose that comes with it is an absolute joke! It’s just really not practical and I’m disappointed that to get an appropriate size hose, I would have to order separate. And the longer hoses are all in back order. We have pretty much all shark products in this house, but this one has been a disappointment for us. It doesn’t take much moving the hose around while vacuuming to cause the unit to tip, which flips something inside affecting the suction. Then I have to turn it off and restart. It’s become more of a hassle to use than it’s worth.

I am in love with how lightweight it is while keeping everything compact and attached to it. The way you can line the trash bin with a bag and then clean it after every use by just pouring water in and then a push of a button. It has soaked up bleach, water, oil, and slime so far with ease. I am impressed by the suction power that it will pick up whole pieces of wood and nails. This is my new cleaning buddy and I highly recommend adding this tool to your home or workshop!

It is perfect for small messes around the house, cleaning the car, mudrooms, etc. The suction is extremely strong. Very well made and thought out. It is portable, has an extra long power cord. Weighing at approx 10 lbs it is not too heavy to carry around. When vacuuming you can place any plastic bag in the bin, vacuum and throw away! Also self cleans. Stores easily in the closet or even in a pantry. Comes with multiple attachments for any job. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shark MessMaster Portable Wet Dry Vacuum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shark MessMaster Portable Wet Dry Vacuum is perfect for what I want to use it for. During real heavy downpours my screened in back porch has gotten at least an inch and a half of water on it and I had to sweep it out with a broom so now with this wet/dry vacuum it will save me so much time and no more worries. It's also great for small cleanups too. It has several accessories included such as a squeegee, a carpet tool, a crevice tool and extension wands. I trust the name Shark because I have several other Shark products and I love them all.

I was very impressed by the suction power this vacuum has. It’s great for dry or wet messes, for big and small messes also. With three kids in our house, there’s always something that needs to be cleaned and this vacuum comes in handy. It’s lightweight and compact, easy to carry around. The bin can be used just as it is or you can put in a bag. The filter is washable and easy to clean. Also the attachments that come with it are great for different kind of messes. I would gladly recommend this to anyone. Amazing quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but mighty! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark MessMaster is a handy little wet/dry vac. It comes with three attachments--a crevice tool, a carpet tool, and a squeegee wet mess tool. It also comes with three 14" extension wands so I can make a really long wand if I want to. The 14.5 ft cord is quite long and allows me to move around a large area, and the sturdy handle on top makes it easy to move the unit around and also functions as a cord wrap. I love that the hose end is designed to be used without an attachment for quick jobs. The suction is very strong, and with the long wand, I can clean under furniture where I can't reach with my other vacuum. The hose, 2 attachments, and the cord all stow on the unit making it very compact. And the dust bin is easy to remove and empty. Also, it can be cleaned by vacuuming up 10 ounces of water--so easy!

The Shark MessMaster is a compact wet and dry vacuum. Due to its lightweight and small size its easy to use and store. It comes with 3 tools - a squeegee, a carpet tool and a crevice tool, so is very well equipped for different messes. The cord is a out 15ft long and the extra extension wands make this vacuum suitable for lots of different spaces. My favorite feature is the self cleaning option! Just vacuum up about 10oz of water, let it flush through the vacuum and then dump out the dust bin. Done!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HOSE TOO SHORT I love almost everything about this vacuum except for one thing and you folks at stars know exactly what I'm about to say because it's what everyone is complaining about (except for the folks that received a free product for their rave reviews), the HOSE is Way Too Short. Who wants to carry the entire vacuum while you're trying to get in and around tight spots especially in cars. It's so annoying. Even on your website you have a gentleman holding the vacuum while using it. Seriously? I just used it for the first time and it's past the return period otherwise I'd return it for just this one issue. Everyone is complaining about the short hose yet it still exists and ships with the vacuum. I need a longer hose immediately please. I'd like a free one but I'm willing to purchase one if you can please either send me one or tell me the correct one to buy. I would give a 5 star rating if it weren't for the short hose. It defeats the purpose doesn't it when you must hold the vacuum while using it. What sense does that make?
