Disgustingly satisfying!
This vacuum is the best vacuum i have ever had the pleasure of using! The amount of dirt it pulled out of the carpets was astonishing given i vacuum everyday (goes to show the power behind this vacuum compared to my old one). It is quite heavy so I wouldn't recommend this for elderly or anyone with poor wrists. I especially love the different height settings for different floor types and carpet levels at the twist of a nob. It truly is disgustingly satisfying, I have loaned it out to my family and friends already as they were all eager to see the dirt pulled out of their carpets also LOL

Powerful and not pricey
I replaced my faithful Dyson upright of 11yrs with this... and am VERY impressed! Doesn’t feel as solid as my old Dyson, but suction is just as good if not better. I get that I will need to be more gentle with this machine, but basically means not to lower foot too low if rushing, and if I want too use it on low setting I need to slow down to not burn it out and snap belt . The cord is Short and the hose for hand wand is hopeless (stiff and short). BUT for the price, I can’t fault how effective the suction is!!!! Would buy another.

When I first pulled this vacuum out of the box, I was a little disappointed. I had chosen it after seeing it recommended in a facebook group and for some reason had expected it to be cordless - which of course it isn't. I have a 2 storied house and wanted a cheaper vacuum to keep downstairs for the in-between clean-ups. However, when I went to use it, it exceeded all expectations. It does a fantastic job, far better than other, more expensive, bagged vacuum cleaner. I have horrible old carpet that gets hair etc. stuck in it, and would use a rubber broom to get it out - but this sucks up EVERYTHING. Thrilled with my purchase. The only downside is the cord is entirely external so does get in the way, and is quite short.

Too many cons for my liking.
The Helix is a beast, it is large, clumsy, cheap looking, but does have an almighty suck. It is too large to get into small places or under furniture and the hose attachment is too short unless you want to go on your knees to clean skirting boards etc. The power cord is short and doesn't have an auto recall so time consuming putting it away and storage for this beast is another issue as it is so big it needs its on cupboard. I also find it heavy and bulky at 5kilos to manoeuvre. Good for a deep clean occasionally but don't recommend as a full time vacuum cleaner

Great machine.
This is great at sucking, it’s made my carpet pile come back to life. I enjoy seeing the crud it picks up.
Only negative would be the power cord, could be another meter or so longer. However that’s probably just me because I don’t want to start/stop just to plug in elsewhere as I’m lazy.
Neat having the versatility of the upright as well as the hand wand.
Another big bonus is not needing to buy bags or filters, so easy to dispose of the contents and to tap the filter lightly on the side of the house after each session.

This vacuum sucks...
This vacuum sucks... like a professional! I couldn't believe the microscopic dirt and dust I've happily been living amongst, blissfully unaware my older vacuum (Daisy the Dyson) couldn't be bothered picking up. Where other vacuums have put it in the too hard basket Berty, my Bissell, gets right in there to ensure no particle is left behind.
Well, that's what it feels and looks like anyway! My carpets look so much better and lux after Berties given them a good blow dry (or suck dry?).
One reason, however, I haven't given Berty a 5 is, unfortunately, she's a bit of a loudmouth compared to my older vacuum. She does drown out the kid's noise well, however, so sometimes I find myself vacuuming just for some escapism.
She's also not really great at gymnastics. Whilst she can get pretty low with the splits, she is just a bit too big footed to fit under the furniture and manoeuvre those graceful angles to get into those smaller spaces.
I can forgive the non-retracting cord, but this is the only thing that makes my heart really drop about my dear Berty and stopping her from reaching her Olympic Gold dreams.
Overall, Berty is an amazing vacuum worth well above her pay grade! She just needs some help reaching those tough spots.

Amazing for the price
bought this vaccum while it was on a hot price special. We are currently only on one income and expecting a new baby so analyze every purchase before we buy, especially big things such as this, and we were definatly not disappointed! Picks up better than any vaccum we have ever had our carpets look brand new. Easy to use, easy to empty. Would recommend to anyone
