Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shark Navigator Pet Corded Upright Vacuum Have only used once since purchased and overall satisfied. Picked up a lot of dog hair which is why I purchased this one. Easy to operate and empty canister, swivels easily but due to canister size doesn’t fit fully under furniture but this is certainly not a major issue. Love the self clean roller brush as my house is usually covered in dog hair mixed with my hair. My only complaint is the length of the cord and it’s storage. I think whoever thought the length of this cord was suitable lives in a bedsit the size of a shoebox! No obvious place to store it but I need to have a good read of the guide. 1 star rating less due to cord length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 1st Day Review Just received my new Shark Navigator Pet Pro Upright Vacuum with Self-Cleaning Brushroll. 1. You do have to push and pull this vacuum. It does not go forward on its own. 2. Toggle has 3 settings. Off, Hardwood, and Carpet. 3. Extra capacity container is very nice. 4. I have 4 dogs. 2 Short hairs and 2 Rough Collies. The brushroll did not gather any pet hair. 5. Suction is GREAT! 6. I gave this vacuum a 4 star because of the design. The toggle switch and being hard to push and pull. These also brought down my overall rating as well. 7. I think if Shark could improve these 2 design features this would be an AWESOME vacuum.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design This vacuum requires pushing and pulling. The rubber roller design seems to prevent it from moving smoothly on carpet. Vacuums well as far as suction goes. I used the attachments to clean my car and got frustrated. The vacuum kept falling over so not a good idea. The attachments are poorly designed. I had to flip the other way to vacuum effectively. The width of vacuum is too small. The head swivels too easily and gets me off track where I was. If you dont mind a physical workout then you will be pleased with the suction power. It does however get hair in the roller and be sure and check the lower and upper part of the canister when emptying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to use! I bought this few months back and was amazed at how hard it is to vacuum. Yes, it does grab a lot of dirt but I practically throw out my rotator cuff to push it. Then there is the issue that the bar stops moving as I push it across the rug. I check for wires hair etc-there is none. I check the connection-it's good. Is it angled properly-yep. I empty out the cup so there is no issue there. I wanted a product that would do a good cleaning and be somewhat easy to use. This vacuum does a good cleaning but it is too hard to push around. I wish I could return it and get something that won't give me a heart attack everytime I use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for pets and and ranch life! I bought this as a birthday gift for my self! I have 2 black labs that live in every inch of my house as well as 3 cats! We also live on a working ranch so we collect all the dust and dirt possible on our floors! This Vacuum gets into all the nooks and crannies! Very happy with it! I will say that there are no rugs in my house, all hard wood floors and tile and I’m really happy with the cleaning although after I got this model, I saw there was another model with a soft brush in the front that was more recommended for all hardwood floors. So, if you have all hard floors, I think this vacuum will work wonderfully but there is another model available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cleaning so far, but puzzling I just cleaned three rugs on my first try, and it picked up two inches of dust, etc in the collection chamber. That's the sign of a powerful cleaner! I'm puzzled, though, by the hose accessories. Three are supplied with the vacuum, but there are only two mounting posts to store them. What do you do with the third, besides losing it? The buyer is given no clue. In the assembly video, you see the actor mount up two accessories, pausing a moment to select which one he's leaving off. Then he smiles at the camera, third accessory in hand, as if he's in on the joke. There's no means offered to contact factory Q&A through this page, so I hope someone in the know will read this and respond.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst vacuum ever This is the third shark vacuum i bought, and now the last one. It is the biggest waste of money. I bought it for the features of self-cleaning brushroll, and the title pet pro upright. We have four cats, one of us has long hair, and carpeted stairs to the upstairs that has a carpeted bedroom and loft. If you have an one level home with goldfish, and no carpet, this is your vacuum. I totally regret buying this piece of (expletive goes here). The 12 ft. nozzle they advertise, is a joke,. The vacuum fell down the stairs numerous times. Do yourself a favor if you bought this take it back. If you get this as a gift take it back. I unfortunately threw the box away.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from POWERFUL AND QUIET I bought this Shark vaccum cleaner on April 04/2020. Ive never owned a Shark before and I have to say off the top that this Navigator Pet Pro is AWESOME. It's only been one day. So its not quite a full review on it, but reading all the comments makes we wonder if you people need to purchase a ShopVac or be sweeping and shoveling first before using this machine. Because I thought it worked flawlessly. It sucked up so much dander and dust i couldnt believe my eyes. I thought putting the attachments on and off was simple. I thought that the swivling and turning around a bend was easy and flawless. Im now a Shark Guy!

why would i want to buy the lift away over the navigator

Thanks for your question Estaban. The Shark Lift Away vacuum comes with a slightly longer cable, captures more dust and debris with a larger capacity dust cup, and two motorised brush rollers. Both are suited for hard and soft floors, and ideal for households with pets. They feature a unique bristle‑guard and comb, and self‑cleaning brush roll technology actively separates and removes hair as you clean, leaving the bristle brush roll tangle‑free. Trust this helps!

Thanks for your question. The product only has a turbo brush as the permanent foot for primary vacuuming usage, no other interchangeable foot. The product has a switch for hard floors that allows the turbo head to spin slower but not switch off completely. The other attachments are to be used as hand held connected to the wand or handle.
