The deep bowl with unique plastic cover allows you to add ingredients one by one and maintain a clean counter top. The speed controls allow you to perfectly blend at the right pace and the end result is the best chance of perfecting the most impressive food. When making bread, be sure that the vibration doesn’t wobble the mixer off the bench top! The bowl seems hard to attach at first but once you know how, it’s like riding a bicycle!

I have owned Sunbeam and Kenwood mixers and they do not come anywhere near the quietness, speed control and power of this “lift up leaver” KitchenAid mixer. I love the clear shield with its opening, that sits over the top of the bowl. It allows me to add ingredients while in use with the added benefit of keeping a neat and clean workspace. The bowl is a wonderful 6 L size perfect for my needs and the quality of the stainless steel accessories are of the highest standard. I place all stainless steel items in the dishwasher. I can’t wait to purchase more of the KitchenAid products to complement my mixer. This item has prime position In our Kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful enough for home [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for about a month now and it has excelled at everything from kneading sourdough and plain bread, mixing up a batch of cookies and cupcakes, to whipping cream. The machine has performed flawlessly and hasn’t flinched. The colour looks great on my bench and having it handy means it gets used all the time. My only minor complaint is that the cover with the filling spout is almost always needed when adding ingredients due to the risk of spills.

I was lucky enough to snag on on sale and I do not regret the investment. The regular price is no doubt warranted, however is more than I could willing spend on something I knew I would not use all the time, so for me the sale price was a perfect opportunity.

Every few weeks I also mix dough for Hamburger and Hot Dog buns all of which I used to do by hand and now I'm wondering why I didn't buy it earlier
