The front clearly labelled panel makes it easy to select the power range (400 to 1100 watts) and time, with a quick 30 second cook button below. The buttons are easy to press and the door release works comfortably, with the added option of a child lock (which is also easy to release if pressed inadvertently). The internal size of the microwave accepts large dinner plates and dishes, giving flexibility with cooking. The lower power range is perfect for gentle defrosting. The high power range is brilliant for cooking and reheating.

Purchased the Panasonic and have been very happy with it. It is a good size without being too big and taking up a lot of space. It looks good in our kitchen matching the other appliances and overall works well. I have 2 small issues with it. The black door can be hard to see through at times and you have to open the door to check on food. Also when the time period has finished if you don't press stop you cant enter a new time for cooking. This can be annoying at times. Also you cant enter anything less that 10 seconds which again can be inconvenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic Microwave We replaced our 14 year old Panasonic microwave with this one after the old one stopped spinning. It had worked perfectly for those 14 years so stuck with the brand and we are happy with our choice. The only complaint (and its very minor!) is that you have to push micro power before the time and it doesn’t have a 1sec option... the old one you could just push the time and had the option of 1sec which was handy! Trivial, but useful info :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good ... Great so far ... a few more bells and whistles than our old one (most of which we're unlikely to ever use). Makes a loud buzzing sound when turned on at the wall but not in use, so keeping an eye on that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from working well enough 3.5 It's only been a few week since we bought this to replace our Samsung one (which didn't last long, unfortunately) but it's working well enough. Although the timing buttons aren't ideal - can't add extra time while it's running and doesn't have a keypad with all the numbers, which makes adjusting the clock a bit annoying - the heating time seem to be an improvement from the previous one. Most of all, we're hoping to get a longer use out of it like our last Panasonic microwave, which lasted 8 or 9 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good size and is an inverter model. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this full sized inverter unit to replace a small cheap temporary one. Important that it is an inverter unit and will only draw less power (constantly) when on less than full power... Disappointed that the unit "rocks" (tips back and forth) slightly on a perfectly flat bench top. ... Two metal feet, two rubber feet, non-adjustable, ~5mm packing under one rear foot to stabilise... should I send it back?... (The chassis is not "square") Otherwise, was bought because I have used an earlier (very similar) model elsewhere, which I was very pleased with... TBD!
