Great induction cooktop.
Bought his to stop using my gas cooktop at home. Doesnt heat up red like others, so I was concerned it wasnt heating as hot as it should. Stops working if the pot/pan is taken off. In built fan is good. Very happy with the purchase so far. Just plugs into the regular power socket

good stovetop but not for stainless steel
good product, well made but not suitable for putting on top of a stainless steel bench. That should have been declared on the online store. I had to waste time taking it back for a credit which takes two weeks to process.

Great cook top
So far so good! Loving it. Shame increments only go in 200W not 100W and slightly noisy fan but it's there for a good reason and normally not annoying when music on or extractor fan going as well. Have had one error code indicating short circuit but hasn't appeared again, if it does I will be returning it. Looks good on our bench. Very efficient cooking, which I am still getting used to. Luckily for me most of my cookware is stainless steel or cast iron. Glad I bought a double element not a single one.

A quick look at the instruction book supplied & I worked out how to operate quite easily. I was very surprised how quickly it heated. I am looking forward to using it instead of our gas cooktop (in the house) & perfecting the heat selections even more :-)

Great device, safe as no hot surfaces. Suggest a smooth bottomed pan. Because they dont get hot, spilt food wont burn on so easy to clean.

We’ll done Westinghouse.
I bought this as a temporary measure after I moved to a full electric house and finally switched off the gas. I wasn’t going to buy a full cooktop until I renovated my kitchen. After using this cooktop I don’t want to replace it. I really like the ability to set different power levels and then adjust the temperature. I’m seriously thinking of having it installed as my new cooktop. Couldn’t be more surprised or happier with this purchase especially given the price point.

Great cooktop
Bought this 6 weeks ago for my tiny house as needed a new cooker. Been a fantastic cooktop. Quick and even cooking I had appropriate pots n pans (Hampton & Mason ) and a cast iron skillet. Only issue I keep forgetting is when I lift the pan it beeps and errors for pot not bring in contact with the surface...Opps

Does the job that it was intended for. Only minor user interface problems.
Firstly, you can not have the right side on if the left one is off.
Secondly, you can not turn off only the right side. You have to turn off both sides together at the same time.

Okay
Not that happy with my cooker. It is very fierce even when turned down as it stops and starts all the time and won't just simmer. With a fry pan it gets so hot that it pushes the oil out to the sides of the pan and burns in the middle.

Does the trick
Had this approx a month, real happy, quick heat, decent size heating rings, love the timer.
It is big, my induction top on my freestanding oven stopped so I have it sitting on top of that otherwise you would need decent bench space.

Not long lasting
The cooktop worked well for a year, I enjoyed using it and the heat controls were good. However it has just shorted out with a flash of red light and smoke. Not good! It's out of the 12 month warranty alas. No idea what caused this.

Hello. Would my 10cm base diameter stainless steel stovetop espresso maker be too small for the induction element to detect? I see there are limitations on pots that are too small. Thanks.
Thanks for a great question! I can confirm the induction elements measure 19cm in diameter, and the 10cm pot will be too small to detect, causing an error message to appear. Trust this helps!

What is the smallest size pot this will work with? eg I have a 14cm milk pot, is this too small for the magnets to detect?
Thanks for your question Jackie. A 14cm milk pot should work on this model as long as it is induction-compatible cookware, and will be the smallest size you will want to go. If you are unsure if your cookware is induction-compatible, place a magnet on the base – if the magnet sticks, it should be suitable for induction cooking. Trust this helps!

could u sit this on a ceramic tile? it wouldn't be able to sit on a formica bench?

Most ceramic tiles are heat resistant however it's best to keep them away from the direct source of heat as they can be susceptible to cracking and, most commonly, discolouring over time if too close to the heat. Always use this induction cooktop on a stable, heat resistant surface. Hope this helps with your query.
