**It is recommended to freeze your ice cream mixture for at least 24 hours to give your tub time to reach the optimal temperature range for processing. The unit is designed to process bases that are between -12°C and -20°C. If you freeze your base for less than 24 hours, it may not reach a cold enough temperature for processing, and your output will likely be soft and liquidy.

***During this process, it is OK for the treat to rise above the MAX FILL line, as long as the outer bowl lid can still comfortably close over the tub to process.
