[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I were not sure if we could make pasta, but wanted to give it a try, and it was something we could do together. We read the reviews and decided on the KitchenAid Pasta Roller & Cutter Set. They are very well built, and easy to use. Our first try at home made pasta was a super success, mainly because of this roller/cutter set. I highly recommend these if you want to make your own pasta, which is simple using these. I would add photos, but I don't know how. Every once in a while you do something right, and puchasing these pasta tools by KitchenAid was, indeed, right!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pasta with the kids made easy This was a gift from my wife and I to, umm well, my wife and I. We always like trying to try and make food from scratch and this had been on the bucket list for years. But like most things we wanted kept postponing, but this Christmas we caved and bought the 3 piece Pasta Roller. Thank goodness. It has been an absolute treasure not just for my wife and I, but our kids as well. Simply and easy cleanup is done while you rest noodles after cutting. The pasta roller has not only brought better quality food into the house it is a gathering point for the family. My whole family thanks you for this attachment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these attachments I have this set and another one because I like it so much. It's easy and quite therapeutic to make fresh pasta from scratch using these attachments. Since I started using them I no longer buy pasta at the market. Nothing can compare to homemade. The rollers cut nicely (made sure your pasta isn't too wet or the pasta strands will not separate), they're easy to attach to my mixer, and easy to clean (never put them in water), just allow them to dry and wipe clean with the brush provided or a dry cloth. If you're a beginner set the speed on slow, as you gain control and experience turn up the speed. These beat using a hand crank pasta maker, believe me I've experience in that department.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband, after having wanting one for quite sometime but not wanting to spend the money and I absolutely love it! I have had 2 hand rolling pasta machines and they don't compare. Those I had the dough stick and smear all over creating a mess and the metal shields on the machines were so thin and cheap they would bend in just cleaning it. Once that happened they no longer worked right. With this it all went so smoothly, not one sticking issue and it made beautiful pasta. Also, clean up was a breeze. If you love homemade pasta and your hesitant about buying one don't be, they are wonderful!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a birthday gift from my sons. I already have the pasta extruder, and we wanted the sheeter as well. I've used it twice (in 3 days) and it is great! The first time was tricky getting used to the process, but the 2nd time I had it down and was able to make almost paper-thin fettucine from scratch. The one downside is cleaning it - can't get it wet, and the pasta tends to fall into the mechanism and has to be "shaken" out once dry. Kind of a pain. Otherwise it's fantastic! Looking forward to many years of fresh, homemade pasta!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Capellini Cutter I bought this a month ago and out of the box it would not work. The cheap plastic guides in the cappellini cutter must be misaligned because no pasta comes through. I have tried to contact KitchenAid directly multiple times and after waiting on the line for hours at a time I’ve been disconnected with no results. I called the number for the US returns and I get a Canadian answer and when I press one for US I keep getting the Canadian company. When they try to redirect me to the US I stay on the line for hours at a time and get no response. On hold again. It’s only been an hour and a half this time

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic pieces falling off make it unusable I had borrowed a friend's set to make noodles, and I used them a lot. I loved the pasta roller and cutters, so I got my own set, and when I used it, the spaghetti cutter got completely jammed up. After much cleaning and poking around, I realized that the plastic combs on the bottom of the cutter, which are supposed to prevent the dough wrapping around, are so flimsy that they just come loose, allowing the dough jam the cutter. The quality difference between the older model and the new model is confounding.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked Great until shaft broke I received this as a gift last Christmas and used it to make spaghetti and fettuccini and those worked great. I used the lasagna one again make ravioli and they came out great, but the shaft broke after only the third use, are the internal parts plastic? I'm disappointed that it broke that easily especially since they seem so heavy. Not sure if it can be fixed or are the internal parts not replaceable. Not sure what kind of warranty this has, I'm guessing a year or less and I know I'm now past that. Wish you had more options like linguini, angel hair or egg noodle.
