Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy purchaser. It is a very versatile machine! I have spent my weekends enjoying making breads, cakes, other sweet goods and icecream with this machine so far. Sure, there are machines that people say are "better" for each of these jobs individually, but i have several issues with that. I have got a small kitchen, so i wont own something that only does one job in there. This literally does it all. Secondly, I am not rich. Lastly, this machine is rather beautiful. I am very happy with my purchase. I will be buying some attachments and look forward to doing so. It has adjustments that my kenwood does not (example mixer depth adjustment for if it misses the bottom) and a better set of attachments. Woild reccomend this kitchenaid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ice cream bowl attachment 🐷 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this attachment a couple of weeks now and have made half a dozen batches of icecream, we are getting fatter by the minute😁 It is very easy to use, and the results are delicious! I would suggest chilling the mixture in the freezer for an hour or two before putting it into the bowl to mix if you live in a very hot climate (I live in North Qld), if everything is not cold enough it will not churn. The only complaint I have is it is a bit messy with the ‘blade’ to get the mix out of the bowl and into a container once the icecream is made.

I have tried other versions of the ice cream pre-freeze bowl versions and think this one is the best. Just store in the freezer for easy access. Stays colder longer, so really whips up the ice cream well. It has a great sturdy dasher attachment which stirs and churns the mixture. Easy to use and doesn't take up any space on your benchtop. I would love for KitchenAid to make an x-large bowl to suit the recipes with bigger quantities. It's easy to see when the ice cream is ready as it will start climbing up the sides of the bowl.

The ice cream maker is a great addition to the kitchen and has become part of my weekly routine! I follow the Kitchen Aid vanilla ice cream recipe, the recipe is easy to follow and delicious. I add in different flavors into the ice cream to mix it up a bit! (such as caramel syrup, and I add this in when I move the ice cream into the container, before the ice cream goes into the freezer) Personal tip: Make meringues with the left over egg whites! Love this attachment 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in February : Great things: it arrived late Feb as promised and I made 5 or 6 batches of fabulous ice cream Not so great things: Instructions are rubbish and i had to wade thru multiple youtube videos to find the relevant instructions on how to attach to my machine. The piece that attaches the paddle to the machine snapped after 5-6 uses which was very disappointing. Its now been over 10 days and a new part has been promised but is yet to be shipped. I adore my kitchenAid mixer and use it regularly but this issue has severely impacted my love of the ice cream maker and I cant honestly recommend it as a result.

I was nervous about purchasing because of the previous model’s bad reviews, however, this is definitely the new improved version of the ice-cream attachment. KitchenAid has remedied all the grievances customers had with the previous model. As long as you follow the instructions, you’re in for gelato fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST ICE CREAM EVER!! I got given this product as a birthday present a few months ago. It was the best present I have ever gotten! I think the price is super reasonable and the product is super easy to use. Sometimes the product is a bit fiddly to put together but it's easy when you know what to do. This product is super easy to use and is great for nice and delicious ice cream. I have made a few ice creams since buying this product and they have been a game changer, for example, I have made SALTED CARAMEL, CHOCOLATE and PISTACHIO. These were super INCREDIBLE!!! It was the best decision ever to make these and my family and friends love them so much! I love this product and definitely recommend.

I am a father of 3 children and thanks to this great accessory I am the hero at home! Exactly! I'm the Ice Cream Papa Man! It goes without saying that the quality you are used to from KitchenAid is absolutely brilliant. And the result is impressive, but really. It's great how step by step the ice is scraped off the edge. But the result is first class! It is important to put it back in the freezer after use and cleaning before you want to use it again.
