Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect As with every device I’ve had, Dyson sets a whole new standard. The app is fantastic and the device is efficient and generally effective (Australia is having strings of days in the 40s Celsius and no fan can help with that!). Two criticisms only; one: it is incredibly noisy, oddly so. Two: the fan is one direction only - sorry if that’s someone’s fave band (ugh) but it isn’t good in this context. But I do love the angling capacity and the app just makes it. Especially having 4G as well as WiFi, much appreciated in Oz with our miserable Tory-tampered internet. I never I could love this as much as my vac and hairdryer but I do! Keep ‘em coming.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Results for Peace of Mind As a Dyson Trial Participant, we’ve been using the Hot and Cool Link every day for a month or so and have found it such a great addition to our 13 month old’s bedroom. Living in an area that can get quite cold at night, this unit offers peace of mind knowing our little girl’s room is both climate controlled and purified while she sleeps. Having it run on the lowest setting (1/10) has been adeqate to heat the room to a steady 20 degrees celsius, so it is suitably powerful. The app is simple, yet full of information, and a breeze to use. I’d recommend this product especially to those with newborns or small children.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dyson Trial Participant Great bedroom fan We tested this fan in different rooms and found it was best in the bedroom. The fan wasn't strong enough for the living room (unless you put it right next to yourself) but it was perfect it in our bedroom. We liked the app which provided real time data on air quality and also doubled as a remote control which was quite convenient. We have strong allergies to house dust and this fan did improve our symptoms though it did not remove it entirely. If you're just looking for a fan, then it's probably better value to check out some other products. However, if you have children or live somewhere with poor air quality, this is a must have for your bedroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product but... We purchased it as an air purifier at the first place. It works great as heater and we didn’t try it as a fan yet. However, it is annoying that in order to purify air it has to be in auto heating or cooling regime. It just switches off once it achieves its target temperature and we didn’t figure out how to make it work as air purifier without heating the room

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but noisy In cool mode it works great but the heater is painful. It's so loud and never fully turns off even when the room passes the set temperature. I have it in my bedroom and have to take the machine off auto in winter as the noise of the heater is too much to sleep with. Otherwise great product and very glad I had it during recent bush fires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was so good I bought another Well when I got the discount voucher I decided to purchase the Purifier, from the date of its arrival we have not suffered the issues of Hay-fever or watery eyes etc and are sleeping a lot better with it on Auto function. It is cheaper to use than our fan draws @8W on low fan and in the one position (plugged it into our device to see what the power usage would be). So with all of this in mind we purchased another for the Lounge/family area. We are very happy with the results and would recommend to others. I love the feature of Focus and defuse mode. Durability - I think it looks robust and can handle our family.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for heating but very noisy I bought this a month ago and I have mad regrets. Mainly due to the noise it creates. Poorly worded name. It definitely doesn't cool. A cheap normal fan does a better job. The heating on it is great in the bedrooms. Gets full room coverage. Again issue is the noise. Had it set to 1 while it was at temp, it was nice and quite. When it needs to get the temp up, it sounds like a jetplane taking off. Not great while trying to sleep and trying to keep a newborn asleep. The app and features are cool. The filter etc is cool too. Am planning on returning this.

What's Heating output?

Thanks for your question Dave. The Purifier is corded at 120 volts. It uses a maximum of 1575W at max heat, and 44W on max fan setting. It can comfortably heat an indoor room approximately 27m2. Trust this helps! ^CO

What is the maximum area this can heat?

Thanks for your question. The Hot+Cool Link Fan (HP03) is a powerful, energy-efficient blade-less purifier that is able to cool an 81m3 room and heat rooms as big as 35m3, whilst purifying using HEPA filtration. It is equipped with up to 216L/s of airflow, a minimal noise level of 59dBa, and uses as low as 44 watts/hr of power. Hope this helps with your query.

Thanks for your question Prit. This unit operates of 120V/60Hz connection and uses approximately 0.5W while on standby. It consumes a maximum 40W in fan mode and operates at 1500W in heater mode.
