Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect little fan with power I was after a desktop fan I could use bedside when my hot flushes came in the night. I read the majority of good reviews on this fan and everyone was right. This fan is quiet. Its not completely silent and you can't expect any fan to be. It is bigger than I expected and its perfect. Rotating and angling the fan head is excellent also and I can set it to a good position for the cool air to hit me. I would highly recommended this fan also because it charges via USB and the charge lasts for a very long time and if i need it anywhere in the house its easily moved without needing to plug in somewhere. Gold star Breville!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fan just buy it So happy with it. Super easy to use very practical and easy to store as it can be folded. Plenty of fan speeds. It looks very nice. Battery last a long time especially when in the lowest mode and it’s pretty quite. The whirling grill is a cool feature. Overall one the best fans I’ve purchased in a long time. The perfect bed side or desk fan.

You can also hang the fan be the attached band on a wall or any hook anywhere. This would be a great addition to camping as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fan!! I got a couple of these fans for the bedside tables a few days ago and wow, they’re awesome!! They’re fairly quiet and I used it in the low speed with the battery lasting from 9pm, forgetting to turn it off and it was still going at 12pm the next day...out of curiosity I left it on until it ran out of battery at 1pm...so about 16 hours running on low. I used it the following day outside on speed 2 and it ran for about 9 hours. It will be great to take camping too! Highly recommended product for sure!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best USB fan, ever! Great airflow strength. I love it. Haven't had it long enough to comment on quality, but if feels strong enough. It's not as small as my other usb fans, but then they have weak air flow & have to stay plugged in to the computer USB port to work. This Brevilles fan travels... you have it on a coffee table when watching tv, on the table during dinner, on your bedside table at night, on the kitchen bench when cooking, in bathroom when doing makeup, in car's backseat with the kids. The battery last ages. If battery dies plug it into a usb phone charger & then in to an extension cord & you can still use it. Sure costs a lot more than those small weak usb fans but you will use this so much more, and on hot days you'll be glad you have it! Level 4 is strong air flow. If it lasts a few years then i will say the money was worth it. If not i'll be back to complain. Lol.

If any other users hear a scraping sound when the grill is rotating, I discovered if you loosen the centre louvre knob, this will stop. It was bugging me for ages before I realised there was a knob in the centre that could turn. I should have read the friendly manual 😅.

The fan is gathering dust now, and I want to clean the dust inside. How can I open the fan head?

Thanks for your question Irene. According to the instruction manual from Breville, To clean the outside of the fan, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Never use an abrasive cleaner. To clean the fan blades and remove dust that may have accumulated, use a soft, damp cloth or a vacuum cleaner using the brush attachment. Trust this helps! ^CO

Can you use this fan while it's charging?

Hi there. Thanks for your question. The manufacturer suggests that to prolong the life of the battery, it is not recommended to operate the fan while the fan is charging. Hope this helps with your query.
