Rated 1 out of 5 by from The humming is disturbing I have owned the fan for few years now and seldom used it due to the noise it makes. The product works well, cooling. It's the humming that's disturbing. When it runs, it hums. When it is on standby (turned off with the remote but still plugged in), it continues to hum. It cannot be used at bed time at all due to the obvious humming. I have to unplug the fan to stop the humming.
