Makes great espresso until it breaks
I bought this machine in October 2019 after having many years of similarly priced super-automatics that would invariably get fussy and break after about 3 years of service. So, trying to up my coffee game I went with this machine which is easy to use and made really good espresso for the first 10 months we had it. Then it started not making such nice cups, of espresso, and then it started leaking water out of the bottom of the case. Luckily it is still under warranty which I am dealing with currently, but for the premium price of this product, I would have expected premium build, premium performance and premium service, which I did not get.

Product Doesn't Last
This machine is our 4th Breville in less than 4.5 years. The first was replaced because the wand stopped working. The second one was replaced because the grinder stopped working. The 3rd one was replaced because the power kept shorting out our circuits. I'm happy to spend some money on what I consider a necessary appliance, but my exceptions on quality of machinery are not met with the Breville brand. I will note, that my interactions with customer service have been very positive when it comes to dealing with warranties and shipping in broken machines. All 3 broken shipments have been replaced instead of repaired. Wish me luck. Hopefully, 4th times a charm.

Great coffee and great customer support
I have had my Breville Oracle Touch for about 2 years. These are complicated machines and will on occasion break down. Mine quit delivering hot water for Americano coffees after about a year (still under warranty). Unlike other reviews, I simply called Breville America and explained the problem. They tried a couple of things over the phone but none worked. Breville immediately shipped a return box with all the protection needed for the machine. The return box arrived in less than 3 days. I packed the machine as instructed and returned it with postage paid by Breville. My machine came back in less than 2 weeks and has worked flawlessly since.

Completely incosistent results and returns seem a pain
Bought this a month back. You can pull a good shot but you need to get lucky. The tamping is inconsistent and the milk frothing is not as good as it should be at this price point. The grind size can also shift slightly by a point automatically so for example even though you had set it to 5 it automatically moves to 6 sometimes. So even with the same grind size and shot timing, the results (volume and texture of the shot) can be very variable. Sometimes the puck can get so wet that it can stick to the grouphead. I'd like to return this if possible but you cannot return directly to the vendor that you purchased from.

Manufacturing flaw/ Brew-head fails/ poor coating bubbles off within 3 months.
I have had a faulty brewhead on my oracle touch. I have had 1 machine repared (part replaced, and then the whole machine replaced. however - the fault has occurred again within 3 months of normal use. This is a design fault. as you can see from the photo of the one replaced unit - this is not hygienic... and is not acceptable. why oh why is this crucial part not stainless steel.
You also cannot buy this part in the spares store.
I cannot recommend this machine because this is not a one off fault - I guarantee you will encounter this issue. It is a real pity as except for this - it is a great machine.

No Repair but New Machine .
Phoned Sage to have a repair under guarantee to my Oracle touch bean to cup machine the boiler was leaking I was very pleased when sage said no we will send you a New machine, The new machine was like for like and arrived within a few days I opened the box to find like sage said a new machine set it up and I swear it works better than the one I sent back . I sent the broken machine back in the Box the new machine arrived in with a label Sage sent me by email to print off . All in all a very good experience but is what you would expect from Sage in any case . Thank you Sage for your Prompt attention to my faulty machine.

Simply Amazing and deliciousness-ness-ness!!
Worth every penny! It makes the perfect espresso shot every single time and froths the milk perfectly to make beautiful latte art which I finally learned how to do. I have used the barista express before but this one is more hands-free and makes the perfect latte faster and I'm not wasting any beans from the times when I didn't make the perfect shot with my barista express. I just love how this machine grinds and tamps the espresso shop for you making the perfect shot every single time. If you are a daily latte drinker then it will eventually pay for itself. It is so delicious and fun to make for friends and family.

Grinder failure, inconsistent tamping
The machine was great the first 2 weeks of use, then it started inconsistently tamping correctly (came out wavy 50% of the time, resulting in a lot of wasted coffee). Then after only 6 weeks of use, the grinder started jamming (despite using only fresh locally roasted beans). Despite cleaning as recommended, the grinder completely failed after 2 more weeks of use, now I am unable to grind any locally roasted beans at a fine enough setting to make espresso. The machine was sent back for repairs, but I was told that there was nothing wrong with the grinder and it was sent back to me. It still doesn’t work with any fresh beans. I am very unhappy with this product.
