Improved Coffee Experience at Home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this machine! The user friendly features has completely changed my experience of having coffee at home, resulting in me reducing the amount of time I spend buying coffee at a cafe. The digital display is clear with large buttons and easy to follow instructions. The suggestions made by the machine to adjust coffee bean grinds or milk temperature are excellent. I am able to walk away while my milk is heating up and not worry about burning it. The taste is restaurant quality! It is also easy to maintain and clean the machine. The variety of different coffee options is amazing! From hot to cold, I can make something for everyone.

Loving having more (and cleaner) bench space
Have just completed setting up the Oracle Jet which I purchased for parents after their Breville dual boiler machine (and separate grinder) reached the end of its life. The automatic dosing and tamping (and the suggestions for altering grind size to dial in) have been working great. The workspace is also tidier (no separate grinder) and cleaner (no manual tamping). While I understand that milk can burn at high temps, my elderly parents are of a generation who like to burn their mouths on that first sip, so would have loved the option for manual milk temp/texturing, and/or a maximum temperature just a little higher than 75 degrees celsius. I find the 75 degrees hot, but it is clear now that my parents were used to pushing this even further on the previous (more manual) machine. Machine is a dream to use. Nice big screen and intuitive interface.

A worthy successor to the Oracle Touch.
The Baratza grinder, ThermoJet system and Auto MilQ system are all meaningful upgrades to the Oracle Touch providing more consistent, higher quality coffees.

Great machine with features - BUT POWER CONSUMTION
So far excellent machine - very fast to make a coffee. Great with the recipe's etc.
However - i cannot give it 5 stars - there is a con that no one has been talking about - that is power consumption. With it turned off (which is in fact "sleep" mode) it idles at 30w per hour. It's not allot but adds up over time. You can shut the power off to it, but then it takes 1-2 minutes to start up as it's no longer in "sleep" mode.
Keep this in mind for the power conscious person

Great machine to make cafe quality coffee at home
My 10 year old Barrista Espress decided to retire and hence I wanted an upgrade with the new Oracle Jet.
Very easy to use as everything is automated and I really like the function to steam a variety of milk from dairy to non-dairy. Not to mention that the knock box was included in the package, which is a plus.
The downside is I wish it had dual boiler, especially at this price tag.

Not enough flexibility in the manual programming
We purchased the new Oracle Jet with great expectations and it lives up to most of them. The auto tamping is a great feature as is the water fill point in the front and the wheels to move it around.
What disappoints me is the positioning of the water spout to the coffee spouts. I only have a small cup for breakfast and the cup has to be repositioned after the coffee is poured or the water misses the cup. This is the same cup that worked perfectly with our old Barista Touch machine. Also the water flow isn't constant so some dribbles over the side of the cup.
Using different size cups with this machine is also difficult as when programming your own recipe you can only select a preset amount of both coffee and water. This means the cup needs topping up with water, or it overflows. Once again, the old Barista Touch could be programmed by time which gave the exact amount for the strength of coffee and the size of the cup.

The best coffee I ever had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't stand it when a barista burns the milk in a cup, I think the milk be silky smooth. With a gorgeous digital display, anyone can use The Breville Oracle Jet. I am a fan of iced coffee , there even is an option for that. I could not be happier with this machine, the pride of my kitchen!

Silky creamy coffee delight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am one of the people who wake up and start every day with a coffee. I was super impressed to find that the barista guidances helped to create a coffee of quality that I would go to the cafe for. Most impressively I couldn’t burn the milk and once I poured it, the most perfect pattern was created too good no to snap a photo of and the beat bonus was that I did it myself ! Coffee from now on won’t be overly costly as I can have them from the comfort of my home and it was fulfilling knowing I made it. By the way I used full cream milk. I’m looking forward to summer with the option of creating cold brews. I love testing new beans and found the grind and temp to be spot on to produce the right texture of grind and therefor the right flow came out. I can also create two cuppas at once and the auto milk starts in time once the drip stops. It’s impressive and I want to show my mum life visitors !
