Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfectly sized espresso machine! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was overall very pleased with the Breville Bambino espresso machine! I found the size particularly convenient, with most kitchens you don’t have enough space to cater for a huge coffee machine - but this machine fits beautifully on our counter along side out kettle. I love how consistent this machine is - if you follow the recommended dosage and instructions your coffee tastes great every time! The milk wand is powerful and heated and stripped my milk perfectly! It cleans easy and is very very easy to use!! I would recommend this machine to many one who wants the professional taste of coffee without the hassle of a huge machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect little machine I have the Bambino Plus, I love it as it's smart and makes great coffee.The only minor shortcoming is the auto purging of the steam wand, which squirts into the tray and ends up with milky water over the bench. The poor design of the collection tray forces the water up over the sides onto the temperature sensor, and thus the bench, even if the tray is empty. The simple solution is to leave the wand up after cleaning, and when the milk jug has been emptied then lower the wand into the milk jug actuating the self purge. Result no mess and a empty collection tray.

It allows you to create excellent cafe quality coffee at home. Much better quality than the nespresso capsules and instant coffee, and only needs a little effort. The machine heats up quickly, it pours coffee with a silky creme and milk froth comes naturally. I have made ten coffees with various blends for myself and guests with the bambino and have only received positive feedback! It has all the functions you need, packed into a compact body for a busy kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coffee machine gets two thumbs up [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine looks great, very modern and sleek. Not too bulky which is good because no one wants a bulky coffee machine to take up bench space. Heats quickly, pours well and the steam wand steams up well which is something other coffee machines don't do well. With the two coffee blends we tried they both came out with a nice golden crema not as thick as an industrial machine would produce but still silky and smooth enough to make a good coffee at home. It's easy to use, and looks great in the kitchen I am sure whoever buys one will be happy with it.

It looks sleek and slimline and perfectly fits on my small bench space. I sometimes have a bit of trouble inserting the portafilter into the group head. It seems a bit tight and I have to use a bit of force. The machine could do with some grip underneath as I find it slips on the bench when the portafilter needs some pressure to get in place. The machine is very easy to use and fast once the cup function is selected and the coffee begins to flow out. I had to do some trial and error to get the right amount of coffee in the filter baskets and the correct tamping pressure. I have used a few different coffee blends in this machine and I could tell the difference between the cheaper and more expensive coffee in terms of texture of the coffee ground and taste. My overall experience is positive and I will continue using this wonderful coffee machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic entry to espresso and steamed milk After leaving my old job in a Cafe I missed the hobby of espresso, I've never gotten into home kits but this seemed a perfect entry point. I've had a blast with the machine so far, moving down to single shot coffees just to use it more often as it runs like a dream and heats up fast enough to justify the time. The only set back is a lack of breville made attachments or customisable options for the components for a poentially heavier portafilter etc (personally I bought a bottomless portafilter immediately and would have loved to get it in the same order from breville) otherwise it's been a perfect experience! Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breville Bambino I love the design and choice of colours you can get with the Breville Bambino. The design is sleek and stylish and it's made to fit perfectly on any counter top. You don't need a big coffee machine to make your perfect barista coffee, this machine does it all. One thing that did surprise me is how light the machine and all it's components are. I'm used to larger coffee machines so was so surprised at how light weight the Bambino is. So just keep that in mind. It makes a fantastic coffee, it's just right and I love the steam wand it makes perfect fluffy milk as I like for my latte. The Bambino is definitely a winner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bit too lightweight. This is our 5th Brevelle Espresso machine over about 20+ years. We are downsizing so the machines have gotten smaller each time. We have a Bambino Plus in the house that is a beauty. So we purchased a Bambino for our RV (as the Plus was Out of Stock sadly). The basket and handle is too lightweight and feels like a toy. Not robust enough at all. Very plasticky (if that is a word!) Have yet to find a grind that works in this machine but will persist. a choice of a more solid handle and basket would be good. And sadly the grinder I purchased to go in the van is also not good enough for a fine grind for a decent coffee. Overall not everly happy, but perhaps I should have researched better in a store.
