Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well-made, compact knock box [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Delonghi knock box is well made. The cross bar goes through the box, rather than resting on top of it, so it stays in place. It feels sturdy as well. I like the stainless steel appearance, which matches my Delonghi espresso machine. The knock box is relatively compact. The small footprint is nice for not taking up a lot of counter space and it works well with the Delonghi’s 51mm portafilter. However, when using larger portafilters, such as 58mm, the pucks tend to break in half over the bar before falling into the box. While it still works perfectly fine with larger portafilters, it just seems designed for smaller ones. Overall, it is a very nice compliment to my Delonghi espresso machine.

The rubber bar in the center of it is nice because it will keep the portafilter in good condition. The other thing that I really like is that the bottom of it has a foam pad, which will keep my wood counter from getting marks on them. This is an essential product for anyone who has an espresso machine!

Perfectly styled to match deLonghi espresso machine, this product is a must-have. It saves having to walk the puck to a trash can or banging it on a plastic container. It looks great, cleans up easily, and is well made. The rubber knock bar is sturdy, the whole thing has a nice weight to it so it won't tip over, and the bottom has a rubber coating to protect your countertops from damage or slipping. Overall just a great and logical product to go with your coffee machine.

We usually make numerous cups of coffee/lattes each day and having this close by the espresso machine has helped us put all the coffee grounds in a single place until we are ready to dispose of them. It has eliminated multiple walks over to the trash can. Easy to use, easy to clean and would recommend for anyone who has a coffee machine.

I have it right by its side to knock out my puck after using it. The bottom of the knock box has a rubber on it so the knock box doesn't move around at all on my marble counter tops. It is also super easy to clean once its full. Just a simple rinse after dumping it and it looks brand new and doesn't hold any stains or oder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for its price I read few reviews on this product and was a bit apprehensive about buying it. I'm glad I did. It does exactly what you want a knock bock to do. The compact design is great and sits well on my bench without taking up to much room. When empty the coffee puck into the box its fine. As long as you don't hit it, like your trying to smash up concrete. The coffee falls into the box nicely. Reasonably price too.

After 14 years our Super Automatic Magnifica sprang a leak and needed to be put into recycle heaven. My husband surprised me with a Delonghi La Specialista Maestro for Mother's Day. I now enjoy grinding and tamping my own espresso beans, like a barista! Looks great at our coffee station, easy to use and easy to clean.
