[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying that i think the JBL PARTY BOX ENCORE is one of the best speaker that JBL has built. The ENCORE is a great speaker and portable, its unbelievable how much sound you get from a speaker of this size , I like JBL speakers,but this is one of my favotite. The ENCORE has great bass and volume. To get the most from this speaker you must download the JBL App so you can work the EQ and the light features and if you have another party box speaker you can connect them together in party mode or a stereo connection only if you have two of the same speakers, they also come with two high quality 🎤 that sound great for karaoke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First day I unbox this speaker, me & my wife ended up doing Karaoke for 3 hours straight. This is a great quality speaker, it is almost unbelievable to experience such a great sound from a portable speaker. But the icing on the cake is the mics, oh my god every household needs this speaker, it is such a fun thing. The mics quality is exception for a wireless microphone and so well built. This is one stop shop for a portable speaker with a great bass & Karaoke machine.

I just love controlling it with the app. The bass is amazing and the sound is perfect. It is light enough to move around or take with me as often as I want. It's a great speaker for the beach because it is water resistant. It was a hit at a recent dinner party I hosted. So many of my friends had compliments and that made me feel so good. The speaker has a decent battery life and that is so nice as well. Those wireless microphones are fabulous too! Karaoke anyone? This speaker makes parties so much fun!

But one thing I don't understand and NOT HAPPY WHY most of the reviews come with (TWO) wireless microphone??? I bought this two months ago in UK, only one wireless mic ?? I love Karaoke but one mic is not enough!! I tried to search the same mic model online but no result. I may return it and looking for some two mic system....

It provided the ultimate entertainment. It provided the group with fantastic sound quality while on the bus listening to music. At the end of our retreat we had the ability to pass around the 2 wireless microphones (which surpassed my expectations: weight, quality, durability) and allowed our group to give their comments of the speakers we just listened to. No complaints about this unit. The only recommendations I would add would be microphone holder and to make the microphones rechargeable. BUT that limitation didnt slow us down one bit. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a great high quality unit with the need for using a microphone or Karaoke.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing but not perfect Bought it few weeks ago The sound is amazing When its not plugged in its not that load And the bass is not amazing But when its plugged in😅 Its just funny how good it is Tbh idk what to say Cause the expectation is basicly from this small speaker should be that what it does when its not plugged in But its able to be much better and thats why its a bit of a shame that its not as good when its on battery Also the mic sound is not amazing Its just not good or not really amazing for karaoke even Sounds like it has a lots of reverb on it Even when it has minimum echo on But overall its an amazing speaker!!!

Can I leave the device plugged into the power outlet even the battery is full?

There's no harm in leaving our JBL PartyBox Encore in charge. Our products have PCM circuits that manage the charging of the battery and will switch the speaker to AC mode once fully charged. We recommend unplugging the speaker to save energy if you use it while charging.

How to set the volume level to stay put after turning off the speakers? It seems to reset to low volume after the device has been turned off and back on again.

Can you connect more microphones to the jbl party box essential?

Thanks for your inquiry. Our JBL PartyBox Encore Essential can connect multiple microphones with the use of a multi-channel mic mixer. You can use the mixer’s line-level output to connect it to the Partybox’s line input. This technically means you’ll be bypassing the built-in mic jacks on the speaker. If you need more help, please reach out to our customer service for assistance.
