Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mighty Flex Speaker Considering how small this speaker is, it truly does pack a big punch. Being able to comfortably bring a speaker with me on outings, especially one that can be clipped onto a backpack is game changer. The speaker quality is very clear, and handles deep bass sounds very well. You can easily adjust the EQ to your liking on the app which I found very pleasing. The sound progression is very clean, it doesn't jump too high as you increase audio either. My only issue with the speaker as of now is the connection for bluetooth can be a bit spotty, which can be fixed with an update to the speaker. Overall, this is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge sound for a small speaker I have a different "portable" speaker from another competitor and it's not even close. The one i previously used was so much bigger and heavier, this little speaker really packs a lot into it and is so light! The sound quality is definitely Bose quality theres a richness and fullness in it. I was concerned about 360 sound but even behind the speaker it was loud with good quality. The only thing I would add is a slip case for when I throw it in a backpack, it'd be nice for it to be protected and have the charger with it. I do love the chrome/metal finish to it, but I can see that getting scratched as I bring it around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sounds from a little package [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with any Bose product this just feels high quality from the moment you get it. The packaging is sleek and minimal( good for the environment) and comes with all you need, the speaker and charger cable. Set up is super easy through the Bose app and therefore took matter of seconds and just adds to the lineup of products. This is the second portable speaker I have by Bose, the first being the sound link max. This is going to be used a lot more as the size is good, it will fit into my bag and easy to have on the go. I think I am going to buy a clip so I can attach it to a bag so can listen whilst walking. The sound: as always expected from Bose this is great for the size, this isn’t something you would run a full rock concert from and it is good for those chilled nights in the garden or days on the beach. The EQ settings as standard with all Bose products now can cater for all preferences. The design has not changed at all from the Gen 1 that I can see. Saying that I didn’t have it so side by side might be more obvious. The battery life is good lasts for a fair few hours so allows for there to be a full day use for sure or multiple days shorter use. It is able to link up to other speakers in the compatible Bose range which is great for a portable speaker for that surround sound experience outside the house. Overall I would say this is a good upgrade for any budget portable speaker. I wouldn’t feel the need to upgrade gen 1 to this as it appears very like for like. I think the Bose sound is one of the best out there and therefore would always lean toward Bose products for the premium sound market

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight portable speaker [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best lightweight portable speaker I have used. Provides great clear sound without a hint of that tinny sound you often experience with small speakers. I like that it comes with a little tab to attach a strap to but it is really easy to just carry this one in your hand. Compared to the Soundlink Max, this speaker does not provide the same amount of deep bass but is an excellent listening experience for its size. I tend to use my Soundlink Max at home and would reach for the Flex when outside due to its portability. Due to it having less bass, it's also a better option when using out in public in my opinion. Great little speaker!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Your new Flex [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking for your latest Flex while travelling? Then look no further than the Soundlink Flex 2. This updated go anywhere portable speaker packs a long battery life with a durable & premium material design. In fact, it is so durable that it can be submerged, take a rain shower, float in a waterproof bag in a pool, cope with sand at a beach, and that makes it worry free. A bonus is that when you are ready you can pop it in your backpack, clip it on to your belt buckle or bag (Just add a carabiner to the strap), or just slip it into your pocket! Having owned the previous Flex 1 this has improved Bluetooth connectivity, higher quality audio, and a better app experience. Out of the box it has a balanced sound with great clarity. It may not have stereo separation but considering the size of it, and the volume it can pump out this is only a small niggle. It can also play compressed audio from the likes of YouTube perfectly well. It doesn't have any design changes apart from the addition of the shortcut button and the updated wording on the back of the case. As the saying goes; if it ain't broke. Want a party? Just connect two Flex 2’s together or mix ‘n’ match with the Soundlink Max like I have via the shortcut button on top. Just press the shortcut button on both speakers and Bose does the rest. You just select the music! I really think that if you are new to Bose this is the perfect starting point, and at the same price as the Flex 1 this is an easy purchase. You won’t regret bringing this little portable speaker travel companion into your life and flexing it out in the world!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speaker! I got this speaker a few weeks ago and although it’s small it really packs a punch! The bass is phenomenal, and I think the audio really can get pretty loud. This speaker is pretty easy to take around with you and the battery life is pretty great too. I have another Bose model and I really think you can’t go wrong with any Bose product. Pros: -size: easy to carry and bring places -sound: great bass -battery life: decent amount of time in between charges Cons: -doesn’t have a premade carrier handle strap, but can attach a carabiner to make it easier to carry

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect compact portable speaker! The first thing I would like to highlight is how easy it is to use this speaker. You can easily connect it to any device via Bluetooth and the compact size of the speaker is perfect without compromising the sound quality. The sound is great, loud and clear. Another plus is the minimal amount of buttons, which allows you to control it without having to use the app. The compactness and the lightness of the speaker paired with the long battery life, makes it perfect for taking it in any indoor/outdoor adventures. The only thing missing, which would greatly enhace the portability of the speaker would be to include a carrying case to avoid any damage. The case would also serve as a storing case preventing any dust from getting into the speaker for long periods of not being used. The black color makes it look sleek and elegant.
