Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Better Than The Stock One The charge grip is a very good solution to having extra joycons and making sure they stay charged, the grip is really comfortable and the cable is really high quality, the joycons slide in nicely and the grip has a latch that allows joycons with broken latches to be secured, i use it whenever i play in TV mode and as a player two controller, however the buttons on it feel rather mushy and there is allot of post travel after actuation the lack of an included battery is also pretty meh, considering each joycon's battery is only like 500mah a 2000mah battery wouldn't add too much bulk and would significantly improve the battery life of the grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for an additional full-size controller and decided to give this one a try because of the charging feature. It's very similar in design and size to the stock controller grip that comes with the console. However, this grip feels more sturdy and the triggers are more ergonomic. Also, the charging aspect is a huge benefit considering the stock grip doesn't have charging capabilities. The charging cable is long enough where you can still be playing on the couch and charging your joy-cons from the console. Overall, this is a very nice controller grip upgrade from the stock grip that's include with the console.

The grips are very comfortable and it really feels like a regular controller. Adding the Nintendo Joy-Con controllers are very easy. They fit perfectly and makes sure there is not wiggling. The cord is super long so you can charge the controllers and continue to play. The indicator light on the bottom lets you know when the controllers are fully charged. I have two little girls who love to play the Switch and this makes it much easier for them to control. Everything about this product is great and I would recommend it to anyone.

The instructions were easy enough to follow and the packaging was very nice! The issue began once the joy cons were put into the controller. The left holder was perfect, but the right holder pressed too tightly on the top bumpers and permanently held them down while playing. It’s a shame because I absolutely love the size of the controller and how it feels in my hand!

This is a great item to buy if you own a Switch. The charge is quick and lasts awhile. The grip plus is nice and easy to use. I love it! A great addition to help my gaming be better. I definitely recommend this! To have the amazing feeling from how the controller feels in your hands and that it charges too is a plus! Definitely worth it!

Having this to not only transform our joycons into a "regular" controller but to also charge them is extremely convenient! We find that they charge the controllers pretty quickly and hold them in place with no wiggling or unsnapping. We liked it so much we even picked up a second so my husband had one as well. If you want to add something to your collection that makes it easier to play as a family this is well worth it anality is great.

I have a set of two joycons that I switch between when charging and playing for those long days of gaming and this has certainly helped add to the battery life. It’s similar to the joycons controller that came with the system with an added cover for the bumpers that feel nice and responsive when you play. I would highly recommend this product if you are outplaying the battery life on your joycons!

When playing in dock mode with a friend, I only have one pro controller so I usually let them use that one and am forced to use the joy cons by themselves. I've used the con holder and its ok, but i don't prefer this. This grip adds some heft and makes the top buttons a bit more accessible to me. The charging feature is nice and the materials are sturdy. I'm sure that this will last through a LOT of gaming.
