Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very thoughtfully designed product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food masher is a proof of how much thought Oxo puts behind each if its products. How could something as simple as a masher be improved? Ask Oxo. The masher has ridges on it which fits perfectly into the ridges in the bowl giving finely mashed food with ease and quickly. The bowl is easy to hold and the silicon grip is soft and comfortable. The masher comes apart easily to fit into the bowl itself saving space as well as avoiding possibility of misplacing one of these items separately which happens a lot at my place. It has halved the time spent preparing food for my baby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some soften mangoes in the fridge and wanted a mushy version of it to put into my morning yogurt so I reached for this food masher and to my surprised how easy and functional this little piece! As I muddle down the cut pieces of mangoes it slide up the bowl a bit but the grainy rim of the masher acts as a fork to push it down so I can continue to mash/muddle the remaining pieces of mangoes and the closing lid was an added bonus for me to keep the left over in the fridge for later use. I highly recommend this product for mashing soft food... I have yet to mash firmer texture food but so far so good!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Travel Tupperware [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel that I should come clean and say up front that I do not have children but couldn't resist the color and functionality of this food masher and container. I eat a ton of food on the go and have used this for mashed sweet potatoes, side salads, etc. The lip on the small bowl allows for easy travel without worrying about spills and the masher is strong enough to get the job done. I love the travel masher and know that someday when I make homemade baby food this will be a favorite tool. The only inconvenience is traveling with both the masher and container- I recommend mashing before traveling to avoid a mess.

The simplicity in its design actually makes it very versatile. It's also the little things that went in to the thought process that make this masher better than the competition. Great features: - Cleaning is always an important aspect with an item like this. Besides being easy to clean and maintain, the masher can be easily broken down and stored away with a lid. - The masher's grooves and teeth make the job effortless. - The bowl's shape fits perfectly in your hand for more control when mashing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ultimate convenience [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love feeding our 6 month old the freshest fruits and veggies versus out of a jar so a masher is key in our family. This OXO tot masher was incredibly convenient! It’s a masher, bowl, and storage container all in one with the head fitting right into the bowl afterwards! So no lost pieces. The first food I tried out was avocado, and I noticed the ridges on not only the masher head, but in the bottom of the bowl as well. Which made the avocado incredibly smooth, no lumps. I served our baby right out of the bowl. So great to not have a bunch of unnecessary utensils everywhere. This was so simple to use and cleaned perfectly. No tiny holes to have food get lost in, meaning no chance of mold growing.

We had bought a masher previously to use for my daughter, but it was bulky and had a lot of part to clean. This is simple, but very effective. The ridges on the bottom of the bowl, and at the bottom of the masher work very well in mashing the food down easily. It does a very well job at making safe baby food in such little time. My son loves it! It easily fits in my diaper bag, and I can bring this along if we're out to eat. Clean up is very easy too! It rinses off very well, and even a wipe will do when you're in a pinch! The only "concern" is my older kids think it's adorable and want to use it as a mixing bowl in their play kitchen. So that's where it'll end up when we don't need it anymore!

When I got it, I couldn't believe how compact it was and how easy it was to mash all the fruits I needed. Also, clean up is a breeze. Thanks to the parts being able to be broken down, you don't have to worry about food getting forgotten in any crevice either. It is also smaller than you think so it fits comfortably in your hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I opened this product from its packaging, I started using it to mash various foods. It’s great for smashing boiled sweet potatoes, squash and fruit! The handle is sturdy but not hard so it’s ways to grasp. The bottom of the handle and bowl has ridges which makes it easier to mash foods up quickly. My favorite feature is that the bowl comes with a lid making it super convenient!
