Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of my favourite foundations to use whenever I can get samples of it. It applies very smoothly and is a medium coverage foundation that can be built up if one wants to cover small blemishes. Things like redness can get covered if they are on the lighter side but some people might want to colour correct first. This foundation gives my face a nice glow and doesn't look heavy at all in real life or in photos. I'm not sure this foundation would hold up well in humidity as I've never tried it on a humid day but this does last well during the winter and warmer days. I plan to purchase a bottle once I finish my current foundations.

Isn't cheap, but definitely worth it.\nMedium coverage and buildable, but does not cake up or feel heavy.\nThe one key difference is that this foundation gives you a GLOW which makes you look million dollars.\nI'm light to medium toned asian and suit 4.5 which is such a beautiful neutral tone. It does not appear too yellow or pink - which is one of the biggest issues I have with most foundations!\nI like to use my fingers for this foundation - I think it provides the best coverage without wasting product on a sponge. You don't really need a brush or sponge either as the formula is so blendable!\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from With its impeccable coverage, satin finish and endless shade range, this product surpassed all my expectations. I have dry skin and typically experience flaking around my nose when using other foundations, except this one. It's hydrating formula allows you to apply less product all over if you're after just a little coverage or be built up to achieve that flawless, editorial appearance. Using a primer will help in extending its longevity on the skin, however I've found I can easily wear this for 8 hours without it breaking up (even on my dry areas) or oxidising. It also doesn't contain any SPF - making it beyond perfect for photographed events or a night out on the town!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm someone who doesn't wear foundation everyday, and tend to wear foundation only for either special occasions or large work events. I found myself wanting to wear Luminous Silk everyday for the amazing glow and perfect colour match. I'm quite fair and have a much paler face than the rest of by body, I'm a shade 4.5 matching the more golden yellow undertones in my skin. I loved how easy this product was to blend, it didn't give any lines around my neck and was very easy to apply with fingertips. \nThe coverage is medium and lasts all day, and it didn't dry out my skin like other products do. \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I absolutely adore the GA Luminous Silk Foundation and can't rave about it enough! It provides a silky, matte coverage and gives a radiant, "lit from within" glow effect which lasts for hours. It feels lightweight on the skin and doesn't look or feel oily. I had the foundation on from 11:30am in the morning until 2:00am the next day (yep, had a late night out!) and still had flawless coverage when I got home - amazing! The foundation is OIL-FREE with a hydrating formula. It contains no SPF which does mean you should apply a SPF primer first or layer up with sun protection, however at night, it is perfect for flash photography. The foundation may be on the pricier end but it truly deserves all the hype it receives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay, so this is for my girls who have medium-dark skin, who are looking for a foundation that doesn't look orange or turn ashy after a couple of hours! Giorgio Armani luminous silk (I'm shade number 9) is light on the skin, but surprisingly offers really good coverage too. I really loved how it made my skin look; dewy, hydrated and flawless. I even had two people comment on my skin at work which never happens with my HG foundation. Will definitely be repurchasing—a little goes a long way so this is worth every hard-earned penny. ADD TO CART!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny!\n\nThis foundation is the perfect balance between full coverage while being light as a feather. The texture really is silky smooth both with an without a primer underneath. I use this everyday and its lasting power is legendary - all day and into the night. When I first purchased this the consultant told me that flight attendants use this all the time because of its staying power and it doesn't dry out the skin, leaving it with a soft matte but healthy glow, so I tried it and love it. I won't use anything else!\n

Luminous Silk definitely lives up to the hype. \n\nThis oil-free, fluid foundation blends seamlessly onto my skin when I apply it with either my fingers or a beauty blender. The colour match is also spot on. \n\nThe formula is lightweight, buildable, offers medium coverage and evens out my skin tone - perfect for everyday use! My skin is left looking radiant and flawless. With oily-combination skin I always apply a translucent powder afterwards, which is great as it doesn’t take away from the gorgeous glowy effect of the foundation. \n\nFor years I’ve always had separate foundations for day and night, but thankfully Luminous Silk ticks both boxes. Worth the $$ investment. \n
