Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dries out lips after they changed the formula. This used to be the best lip balm I had ever used. The formula change has made me very annoyed as it now actually dries out my lips. I bought four of the new lip balms before I realised the formula had changed and I have had to throw them all away. I asked a sales consultant why they had changed it and she said it was because the SPF made the lip balms melt in the sun and the company wanted to stop this happening. Obviously, what they didn’t realise was that the soft, easy-to-melt texture is what made the balm so amazing in the first place. Fresh, please bring back the original formula and please do so quickly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New formula, big change in texture & quality This has been my 'must have' product since I first discovered it over a decade ago. Even when I was on a tight budget, I would save to buy this because it was the only thing that was guaranteed to leave my lips smooth and soft. I thought my latest tube was a dud because the texture is all wrong, but turns out it's a formula change: it no longer melts into my lips, it's now waxy and thick, and just sits on my skin. It just feels like a generic lip balm now, definitely nothing to set it apart from the competitors. Such a shame to lose a product that really worked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the balm, but won’t buy again I am fussy about lip balm- I want a strong container that won’t break in my bag or a lid that will pop off. I don’t want to have to keep reapplying- I need staying power, long lasting moisture. I don’t want a strong ‘flavour’ to the balm. And this is why I can’t buy this wonderful balm again, as the SPF has been removed from it. This for me is essential for the health of my skin. Sun exposure dries your lips out let alone potentially causing damage. I am gutted. I realise there must be challenges meeting global legislation on SPF products but we also all know just how important sun protection is for the health of our skin- Fresh as a beauty brand must be keenly aware of this! This is why I am quite so disappointed, you help us protect our skin and look after it. I really hope you find a way to get the SPF back in and I’ll be back as a bulk buyer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feel totally let down I have used the lip balms since 2003 ISH when there was just the original sugar...have loved it for so long....when did the SPF get removed....how long have I been using it with no protection without knowing. That's just so wrong and thought I was having lip protection. Have since loved all the new colours but won't but it any more as it's not the same...totally lacks moisture and now just dried my lips out. 20 odd years and so disappointed

Sadly no longer and actually makes my lips dry. Won’t re purchase unless this is improved/they re instate the old formulation. What a shame
