Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back the gold balm! I was obsessed with the gold balm's look and formula and scent! I got the silver one because I was told it was the same formula just new packaging and it is not! I had a gold one for every purse and every jacket pocket and I'm running low now and wanted to buy a whole box of these for myself and after buying one of the silver I won't be buying any more unless the gold comes back! The feel is very different and does nothing for my lips compared to how perfect and amazing the gold one was and the scent is much less desirable. I only use Babor products and this is the only time I've been let down. Please please please bring the gold ones back I know from the reviews I'm not the only one who feels this way

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Subpar product from the last lip balm. I bought the prior "gold" packaged lip balm and loved it...it was silky and hydrated extremely well. When I bought three more, the package changed and was silver. I figured it was the same product. It definitely is NOT. It feels wax-like and doesn't moisturize the same. Please: 1) let customers know if the product changes otherwise I assume I am buying the same product when it is apparent there was a formula change and 2) bring back the old formula. Thank you!

For all of you being frustrated about quality of the silver balm- I am with you- I am an esthetician working with Babor cosmetics for 30 years- the quality of the gold balm was superior.. fabulously moisturizing and protective May be finally somebody from Babor will give us an real answer ..why was switched to the lower quality of a balm- and please don't talk about the mask ( we need great balm formula) Please bring it back .. it will sale like a hot cakes ! THE only lip balm that worked on my lips was the formula used in the gold packaging amd I referred it to so many friends and clients as I am a makeup artist. Another customer lost. Really really bummed about this.

I purchased the silver Essential Care Lip Balm, believing it was the same formula as the gold Skinovage Lip Repair Balm, and it wasn't the same. I loved the gold tube so much, I purchased any I could find on knock-off sites. While the silver tube is okay, it pales in comparison.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE! Luckily my mother decided to try this product out on me (without telling me of course, sneaky woman!). She knows how often I go through lip balms and try different brands feeling just meh about most of them. Was currently using Rosebud lip balm but due to the extensive amount I was using to keep my lips moist the price was too much. Babor's is the best I have ever used!! It has been almost a week now and the difference is noticeable. Less dry/ cracked feeling in between uses, plus the great smell that somehow doesn't come with a horrific flavor? Is incredible. Another thing is the casing, I have always felt most lip balms lack class, this little gem is elegant enough to put in my prada. Hands down my favorite! Will be sharing with all my friends about my new find! Thanks mom!
