I wanted to find a lip product that would give me a nice wash of color, kind of like a watercolor effect while being moisturizing and easy to apply (I usually apply lipsticks with my fingers to sheer out the color but with Covid, I prefer not to do so now). This color is a nice red wash on my pigmented lips, which is nice because a lot of colors are usually chalky looking on me. Also, I just really love the packaging on this product, it's shallow but it contributes to the experience. If you want a bold, pigmented, bright red lip, this isn't it, but I honestly prefer it the way it is and got 2 backups already :). I just wish that there was more product in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FABULOUS! Best Lip Balm Ever. Absolutely THRILLED to have stumbled across this lip balm at Nordys today. They had just 3 left in Lilac, a gorgeous, blue-undertone lavender-pink that's sooo flattering, pretty, perfect for all skin tones. Came back to Shiseido to see what other colors are in stock. Purchased Sakura, labeled a sheer pink. Cannot wait to try. This formula is VERY moisturizing, glides on smooth and leaves a beautiful "stain" that lasts for HOURS. Feels so luxurious on. The color palette is AMAZING. Hope this is here to stay...will be back for more! Highly Recommend.

This lip balm is considered Safe for Me on SkinSafe. I have had no adverse reactions and the texture and color are wonderful.

I can use it by itself as a moisturizer. Knowing that it does not contain harsh ingredients is a big plus!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could not find a good color for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Test the colors at a store before you buy. I was looking for an easy, ever day lip product. I like a little color but on the neutral side. The formula feels very good on the lips, but I could not find a flattering color for me. I have light medium skin with warm/olive undertones. I purchased the rosewood color and I can only wear it after pressing my lips on a tissue to create a naturally reddish look - only on simple to no makeup days. Otherwise, it is too tomato-orange for my complexion and taste. All other colors were either too dark red or too pinky for my taste. The line needs a good muted pink/ true nude shade.
