Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly lightweight Ohmygoodness where to begin. This foundation is EVERYTHING. I have some pretty decent rosacea on my cheeks and it gave the perfect amount of coverage without being heavy and cakey and just yucky feeling on my skin. I also have the beginnings of smile lines and some wrinkling on my forehead and this foundation does. Not. Crease. It has the PERFECT natural finish. I would HIGHLY recommend this foundation to literally everyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent but the original was better So I want to start by saying that this is not a bad foundation, it's just completely different from the original formulation. So much in fact that they should've kept the original in the line up for those wanting a more matte/velvety option. Since this has a satin/Dewey finish Shiseido should've replaced the synchro glow with this one. I'm disappointed that they discontinued such a beloved formula and I hope they reconsider getting rid of it. I know I can't be the only one with this opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This foundation got so mu This foundation got so much hype from the YouTube beauty community so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, this did not work for me. It looks really lovely at first with medium coverage thats buildable. However, after 3-4 hours I looked very greasy. Im ok with a little glow once my oils come through, but it started to break up the foundation on my skin, especially the t-zone and looked terrible. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and normal to dry cheeks so I guess it makes sense. Ive tried this with all types of primers from tatcha to fenty to mattifying skincare underneath and nothing extended the wear, I guess its on to the next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NEW HOLY GRAIL!!! My previous foundation I used daily got discontinued, so I was on the hunt for another holy grail foundation. My skin is usually very dry and this foundation was amazing! It did not cling to any dry patches and stayed looking fresh in the summer heat and at the end of a 4 hour long graduation. I am so glad I wore it to my special event because it looked greatnin photos and I am definitely repurchasing after this runs out. The shade match was also amazing and it looked great set with the Shiseido synchro loose translucent powder. I have always been happy with anything from Shiseido and they usually always end up being what I use on a daily basis.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3 Stars This did not color match so well. I ended up receiving a color that was at least two shades lighter. I ended up trying it on anyways to get a feel of how it finishes and wears throughout the day. I just used bronzer, blush and contoured to get the right color match and it seemed to work. The finish is great. Its matte but not drying. It lasted a ~9 hour work day and didnt need to be touched up. The down fall was it sets way too fast. Between a brush and beauty blender, I found that the beauty blender worked the best since I work quicker with one. All in all, if I had the right shade and got use to applying it quickly, Id be using it often.

I have used many different foundations and formulas of different brands throughout my years. However, I am very impressed with the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing foundation. I have sensitive skin, and I do not like foundations that are heavy and make my skin feel unnatural. The Shiseido foundation provides enough coverage to help cover my aging spots, but yet leaves my skin feeling soft and natural. I have finally found the perfect foundation for my sensitive skin. I love how youthful I look again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4 Stars I received this free from influenster for my review. I like this foundation it is light weight, fades gracefully and it did last long during a hot and sweaty day. The biggest issue I have is that it does not stay on my oily t-zone as well as it did the other parts of my face. I saw transferring and more fading in those areas which is normal for me but I had so much hope as this is marketed as a 24 hour staying power. Overall this has a nice natural finish but this maybe better for those with normal to dry skin. Also keep in mind that you may need to go up a shade this shade is light on me and it is the typical shade I would go for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4 Stars The shade I received was Bamboo and it was a tad too light (I need shade Maple) , but I tried it out for a couple of days anyway so that I could see how well it'd fair on my combo skin. I have to say that I really like it and would buy this in the correct shade once I'm in need of a new foundation. The coverage is medium to full, blends into the skin well and once it sets it's a very lovely finish on the face that doesn't feel heavy. It held up pretty well in the Texas heat and during the day at my job where I sweat quite a bit. I did notice some separation around my nose but nothing too awful. All and all, I give this foundation a thumbs up.
