I bought this product a few days ago, because I've been concerned with the health of my hair -- it has been feeling more dry and brittle, which has not been a problem for me before. I've always liked the Joico line, and in the past have pampered my hair with the Defy Damage line. However, I was looking for something a little lighter and gentle, but something that could still effectively clean my hair/oily scalp. After just one wash, I am a believer in the K-PAK Reconstructing Shampoo! My hair felt so soft and hydrated afterwards, and a was so impressed with the amazing lather the shampoo works up during my wash. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Will be purchasing this again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have alopecia for 15 years now, which leaves me with bald patches and thinning hair. I spent thousands of rands on different brands to find something to hide the effects of the alopecia and Joico Silk Result ticked all the boxes. When that was discontinued I was devastated. Back to spending thousands and found Joico Kpak which was close but my hair never looked as full and shiny again as it did with Silk Result. Now that the new formula makes my hair oily, knotty and sticky, my bald patches are visible once again. I'll use what I have until it's done but I don't know what I am going to do after that...spend thousands again :-(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give the new formula a ZERO I WOULD. I used K PAK for years and years and loved it. Whatever the new reason for the new formula is; take it back!!!! The old stuff was thick and lathered nicely and smelled amazing. The new stuff, the smell alone makes me want to vomit. Seriously I opened the bottle and thinking I was going to have that beautiful smell I was assaulted by the stench. It smells like processor to dye your hair and I don’t dye it for that smell is rotten!!! Also my hair is now staticky and flat, no more luster. I hope you fix it and go back to the formula and please FIRE who ever made the change...GROSS!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If ZERO starts was an option I would have given it a ZERO!! I have used joico shampoo and conditioner for about 10 years! And LOVED IT!!!!!!! And now they reformulated it and I used it once and it’s AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smell is terrible and it left a slippery coating on my hair that would not come out despite several minutes of rinsing and now my head itches!!!!!!!!! I am so upset :( Why would u change such an amazing thing Now I have to buy something else :( Why why why .......???????? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING THE PREVIOUS FORMULA BACK!! And email me when you do!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate to complain during this pandemic but I'm hoping Joico will use this down time to evaluate their product and change the formula. The Color Endure shampoo, I am stuck with a 33.8 fl.oz bottle, is a terrible shampoo. It doesn't lather at all, burns my eyes and leaves my hair feeling dirty. If you do nothing else, put a warning on the bottle about your product burning eyes! If someone had an eye condition or sensitivity, they need to be warned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The new formula is AWFUL the smell is way too strong made my hair dry and brittle. It does not have a ph balance 4.5 - 5.5 or bio advance peptide complex like the old formula. They swapped out the most important ingredients for a nice fancy gold bottle marketing only works if the product preforms I see this as a big loser. I guess when you have to save money you cut back on ingredients and charge the consumer more. Bad move Joico.

And waste of money - I haven't decided how well it works but IT STINKS so much I will not be using it - it even leaves your hands smelly after your shower and you need to reward with soap. Whoever approved this product should be fired!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why’d you have to mess with a good thing, Joico? I’ve loved K-Pak (regular, not for color treated) for years. The new shampoo formula is terrible. It smells like bad perfume and makes my hair feel dirty, and my stylist said today that my ends looked more dry and ragged than before the formula change. I’m so sad. This series was the holy grail of haircare.
