Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am 53 and was looking for strong SPF facial cream to use everyday. I have been a user of Neostrate/Exuviance for years and decided to give this line a try. I hike on the weekends and wanted to protect my aging face from the sun. This cream is too heavy and makes me break out. Nothing worse than being mid aged and getting pimples. I feels horrible on my skin like I have this heavy mask and can't wait to get home to wash it all off. I wanted to return it to discover I am 14 days too late. :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sunscreen that behaves like a nice face moisturizer I love this sunscreen and I have tried quite a few. It was recommended by Angie of hotandflashy50. I have dry skin with a few wrinkles ( in my 50's) and so many sunscreens feel dry and gross and stiff after a few hours. This feels great all day. Thank you for a great product. P.s. the dispenser doesn't always work but still totally worth it.

I have used both tinted and non-tinted solar defense and both are wonderful, but non-tinted has SPF50, which I really love. I was told by a skin care specialist that in order to give yourself optimal sun protection, sunscreen should be applied on your face after cleansing, as opposed to the final cream you appy to your face. This amazing product glides on with a double duty punch, both a sunscreen and because of its great coverage, as a primer before applying makeup. Love that! This product review was written as an entry for the Mother's Glow contest, although I would have written this review anyway. I don't usually review products but this product is an exception to my rule. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Protection! I have been on a journey for years to try to find a physical barrier sunscreen (zinc and titanium dioxide) that works! After researching the chemical protectant brands, I became less comfortable with those options and wanted to find a daily face sunscreen sunscreen that was safe for my family. I love the options of tinted and non-tinted! The sunscreens rub in well (although it does require a bit more work with the un-tinted 50) and protect our skin against the harmful rays. It's also in a great pump that works easily to throw in my make-up/beach/travel bag. I always take a tube of each with me for a vacations! My only minor dissappointment with the un-tinted formula is that after multiple times of reapplying, it does appear very white--I usually keep a pack of the hydropeptide wipes in my bag and try to wipe off the excess and my sweat before reapplying!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just okay. This product offers good sun protection; however, it does apply very "white" and you really need to rub in it. It also clogs pores. I get facials on a monthly basis and I'm definitely more clogged during the summer months when I've been wearing this product more often. I think the price point is high and that some drugstore products would work as well for less money.

It is an effective sunblock AND it keeps my complexion moisturized all day. Really lovely. The only reason I keep looking is that the price is SO HIGH.
