Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Thrill of Chamade A pounding drum beat, a racing heart…the thrill of anticipation. From the green brightness of the initial spray to the near immediate floral transformation to the hints of powder and vanilla, Chamade feels classic, yet modern. Not too sweet, not too green, not too intense, it’s a beautifully balanced perfume that only gets better as it develops on the skin. Chamade is a Guerlain classic that’s worth taking a chance on. I’m thrilled I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Dynamic Rose Fragrance When ask to name a dynamic rose fragrance, I always nominate Chamade, even if the rose is tuck under sheets of clove, sandalwood, galbanum greenness, and different types of balsams. This is not a matronly scent; taking inspiration from a novel centered around restlessness, --Chamade is inexcusably confident. A preferred rose for those who lean towards smoke and spices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thankful for Les Legendaires I never had purchased Chamade and was not sure if I would like it, but since Guerlain online is the only place where it is available, I decided to take a chance and buy it. I was not disappointed. To my nose, the top notes are a light citrus-floral, with a milder fruity medium note. Better for spring and summer than winter wear.

It perfectly captures the early 70s but with a modern touch as well. I hope they never stop making Chamade. I love green fragrances and this one is so amazing
