Rated 2 out of 5 by from I can’t decide on the scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample size of La Panthere Eau de Parfum for testing purposes. I’m torn as I’m not sure how I feel about the scent. It definitely applies really strong and was overwhelming at first. It also last and lingers for a long time. My husband sprayed it in the back of my hair as a joke and I don’t wash my hair everyday. I could still smell this scent with every move I made 3 days later when I went to wash my hair. My husband does not like this scent at all which is a deal breaker for me. I would definitely give 5 stars for long lasting but I just do not like this scent at all on me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this sample, but after only 1 spray on a piece of paper (and my arm, accidentally) I knew it was not for me. It's really heavy, strong, and overwhelming. It was a deep floral with musky and powdery notes. I didn't realize I had gotten some on my skin until later, when I noticed it. It smelled the same (I was hoping it would be better on me instead of the paper). It also gave an instant headache. :( I hate to write a negative review, but this is my honest opinion. I'm sure other's might like it. It's always good to try new things! This one just was not for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All year fragrance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's interesting, unusual, easy to wear, and has a kind of luminous, radiant quality. I don't often think of perfume in synesthesia terms, but La Panthère struck me as having a golden glow that meshes nicely with the color of the juice. La Panthère opens on bright but sheer fruits; s. It changes quickly in the early stages, there are flashes of almost-recognizable-but-gone-before-you-can-decide notes; The heart, as promised, is gardenia, but it's likewise weightless and blurred. The lasting power is ok, but on my skin, a light application was mostly gone in four hours. Definitely worth a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Scent! My New Favorite! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this La Panthere Eau de Parfum! It is perfect for day or night, and appropriate for all occasions. The scent is not overpowering, and I have received many compliments on it. The fragrance lasts a long time - In fact I put it on in the morning and could still smell it later that evening. Cartier always releases fantastic fragrances, and this one is my favorite so far. The scent is a bit fruity and floral, and it's very light. I always consider the mood scents put me in, and this one makes me happy. I highly recommend this fragrance, and it would make a great gift.

This fragrance is VERY different and will appeal only to a SPECIFIC demographic. It smells expensive, sweet and floral. In that order. Lasts all day long until I shower it off. Staying power is unbelievable! A VERY small amount is all you need. Less is definitely more. Certainly pricey, I would recommend obtaining a sample of this fragrance before committing to a larger bottle. Definitely not an everyday fragrance. Way too concentrated for that. This smells entirely different on the skin than the clothing. For best results, apply directly to the skin.

I've been searching for something with a light scent for occasions when my husband and I go out. I decided on this thinking it may be light enough for me. Oh wow! It is definitely not a light scent. I sprayed it one time on my wrist in my bedroom on one end of the house and you could literally smell it on the other end of the house. I have a very sensitive nose and had to wash it off because it was too strong. It may be okay for other people who are use to wearing purfume, but it is certainly not for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from All I can smell is gardenias [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally love Cartier fragrances, but La Panthere is too "one-note" and gardenia-forward. All I can smell is heavy gardenia, which I associated with old ladies. It's not a youthful fragrance! To some people, gardenias smell overly ripe and almost decayed, if that makes sense. On the bright side, if you DO happen to love gardenias, the scent has enormous staying power, and you will be able to smell it hours later after applying. It's just not an appealing scent to me. The bottle is stunning though. It's a work of art that I would love to display out in the open....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume smells like flowers it smells good but the only thing I didn't like was that is way too strong when u first put it on it smells way too much of strong smell I can even feel like if the smell is in my throat but after a while the smell of flower starts to smell soft but at the same time is too strong I feel like this perfume is good to use for like a night out or for a party but to have it all day like a regular use I personally wouldn't use it I would only use it for like special occasions so I do recommend it if ur looking for a perfume that is flowery and strong smell for a special occasion
